Thanksgiving.

The morning of Thanksgiving I slept in till 9 which was AMAZING! We then had a relaxing morning watching the Macey's Thanksgiving day parade on TV,  and eating breakfast before heading over to my moms to help her get things ready for Thanksgiving dinner. We started eating a little after 2 then started to look at adds for "black Friday" shopping. I honestly already had my night mapped out by looking at the online adds. So I watched our very aunry didn't take a nap baby while Shaless and mom decided what they wanted at what stores. Travis took Erilyn home because she was throwing a fit and we went shopping. First stop Toys R Us we were really close to the front of the line I rushed in and quickly found what I needed. My mom and ride on the other had did all her Christmas shopping there, I still had 2 other stores to go to!! We eventually got out of there and she decided she was done so she dropped me and Connor off at my house so I could get my car. Shaless decided she was done to since she didn't really have a way home. We rushed to Wal Mart got everything we wanted there except 2 things and headed to Target where the line wasn't that long yet (sweet!). While in line Shaless called and said that she was at the Wal mart by her house and asked if I needed anything. Sweet she found one of the other things I was looking for at Wal mart. And I decided that I would get the other thing at Target because they were better there any way. When the doors opened we rushed to get the stuff we wanted and made it out with in half an hour with everything we wanted. :-D I came home and went to bed at 845! I have to say that I liked not having to stay up late or wake up early to get the good deals. It was a great thanksgiving I cant wait till next year!!

Pregnancy update.

I'm now almost 30 weeks pregnant. I had an apt on the 22. My blood pressure is perfect my weight gain is good and babies heart beat sounds great. When he measured my belly he didn't say anything, but I asked him how I was measuring and he said that I'm measuring barely small but it is consistent with my ultra sound so he isn't worried. YAY! I also had my glucose test done. I got a call the next day and I automatically thought I had failed the test so I let it go to voicemail so that I could prepare my self for the worst and talk to Travis about it. I called back and of coarse it goes to voicemail I leave a message and they call me right back. The assistant says "So we got your glucose test results back.......and you passed BUT your iron levels are a little low". I could finally breath again!! I'm now taking an iron supplement along with my usual prenatal vitamins. I cant believe that I only have 10 weeks left till my due date!! Here is to hoping that I make it Feb.!! Erilyn is growing up!

She wanted to go outside one day so she put on her shoes and jacket that's all she needs right?

I still wouldn't let her go outside but had to run the garbage to the curb when I looked up this is what I saw!!

We had pizza for dinner one day and Erilyn decided that ranch made a good meal.

She found a sticker book and decorated her self with all the stickers.

I ran up stairs one day to go potty and when I came down this is what I found!! It was clean when I left!!

One night she decided that pull ups made good hats.

Our little Erilyn is growing so fast!! She will repeat any word when asked. Even love you this is a new one it took us months to get her to say this she always would answer with a sarcastic ''no''..... But she finally said it and I have to say iv never been so happy to hear that word in my life!! She is quite the monkey and climbs every where and on everything!! She loves to hug and kiss my belly and laughs when the baby kicks her. She loves curious George or '' monkey George'' as she calls it. She thinks she needs suckers everyday. She is potty trained during the day but wears pull ups at night because she wont get up to use the potty yet hopefully that wont last to long though. She keeps us laughing and is quite the trouble maker she will do something she knows is bad and put her self in time out, sit there for a few seconds then run over to me say sorry and hug me. She loves to sit in a laundry basket and spin till she cant walk. She knows what a circle, E, R and S  look like she will sometimes tell you where a star is. She can count to 5 and sings abc but wont finish the song. She loves books and has a few of them memorized. She has to sleep with her baby dolls every night, and  thinks she needs at least 4 books read to her before bed. We sure love this little girl!!

The promotion.

A few weeks ago on Sunday the 20 I noticed a missed call from Travis when I got home from church, he called literally minutes before but I didn't hear it because my phone had been on silent for church. I quickly called him back and asked for him like usual and waited and waited...... and waited for him to come on the phone. Finally the co-worker came back on and said he was in a meeting with Dave. DAVE? He didn't say he was coming that day ( Dave is his district supervisor). He called me back about 20 min later and said " I get to drive to Sandy everyday now". It took me a min to realize what he was talking about. He got promoted to STORE MANAGER! It comes with a raise and monthly bonus depending on how well his store does sells wise. He has been working there 4 years and has gotten promoted around this time every year. This however is the first time he has been moved to a different store. The commute is about 7 min longer then before making it a 20-25 min drive depending on traffic. He is getting use to the slower store and being in charge. I'm thankful for the hard working man he is and for the job he has with amazing benefits.

Over all we had an awesome Halloween and it was nice spending it with Travis for the first time since we got married. He has always had to work on Halloween night because he was the only one with out young children.

Last garden up date 2013

A few weeks ago we pulled up our garden I should have taken a before picture but didn't think about it till we were almost done. We filled up 2 garbage cans to the top with tomato, bell pepper, cucumber corn and water Mellon plants.

This is our bell peppers we put them in the stroller so we could easily move them to the front they were quite heavy. I cut up and stored 10 baggies full of them and still had lots left  :-) We used some for a family dinner by grilling them on the grille gave some away and the rest went in the garbage.:-(

We had well over 100 carrots we have them in the fridge and have them with dinner quite often. We also ended up with 3 good water melons they were yummy! We also got quite a bit of fruit off of our trees this year and made 5 quarts of apple sauce, 4 quarts of apple pie filling and 5 quarts of pear slices.

Last sun (oct.27) we had our annual Halloween dinner I made these awesome rats for dessert.

One day in October Shaless and I decided to take the girls to the witch fest at
Gardner village. They weren't quite sure what to think of  the witches and were actually scared of them but I enjoyed the nice walk and looking at everything.

She got the cereal on her tray from with the" money" she earned working on the farm. Over all it was a fun night she also got to go on the big yellow slide with me but we didn't get any pictures of it. 

Merry Christmas to me!

So the reason I haven't been blogging much lately and when I have been there haven't been pictures is because our computer was slowly crashing getting slower and slower and freezing in the middle of posts. This made it hard to download pictures and finish posts before the computer froze and it just made me really frustrated rather then being able to enjoy it. Well the other day as our home teachers were at the house on of them mentioned that they do I.T. work and offered to take a look at our computer. The computer wouldn't even boot up and all the tricks he knew to get it to weren't working, He very nicely said your screwed and offered to try to get the stuff of the hard drive for free witch honestly the only thing that was on there was some pictures that most of them are backed up somewhere else. We then started to discuss our options and decided that a lap top would be best for our needs we really only use it  for the Internet and most importantly blogging! We started to compare prices and even considered waiting till  black Friday to find a good deal but found one we both liked at best buy for only $360! Its a HP notebook and I'm loving Having a WORKING computer again!

What Erilyn has been up to lately.....

 



She REALLY wanted to paint one day so I put her in her high chair and let her go at it. This was the end result I should have taken a picture of her tray it was even more painted then her! And her paper.... well lets just say it ended up in the garbage it too saturated in paint and was sticking to the table when I tried to let it dry,

One day as I was putting laundry away Erilyn was playing on my bed and found my candy corns.....She was so proud of her self!! The good thing is she doesn't really like them. She did have fun making a mess though!

This picture pretty well explains its self. She has done this many more times since and has made quite a few pictures on our walls.

She went to her first Jazz game it was the jazz scrimmage and was FREE so we figured it would be a perfect game for her to go to. Her favorite part was getting to sit like a big girl on the train and the popcorn.

One day she was super tired but didn't want to lay in her bed so she made her a bed on me! As you can tell she was quite proud of her self and has done this many other times since.

She has found that we have cameras on our phones and that we can make them so that she can see her self. My phone is filled with pictures like these next few.
