State Fair.

We went to the fair on Mon Sept. 14. It was supposed to rain all day so it was not very busy at all.
we did the kids hands on activity Enslie loved the basket.

milking a "cow"

There was a free circus the lady in front of us shared her cotton candy with us.

After the hands on thing we all rode the "big yellow side" Erilyn said she liked It but didn't want to go again and the guy at the bottom of the slide said Enslie looked scared till it was over then she smiled.
We found a tent full of baby animals Enslie loved the chicks.

As we were finishing up it began to pore rain so we stayed there till it stopped.

They asked if Erilyn wanted to help feed a kid she was excited!

till it jerked and scared her then she just stayed at the back and petted it.

you cant go to the fair with out getting something deep fried so we got snickers and reeses to try they were yummy!!

ITS A.......

I kept going back and forth on weather or not I wanted to finding out babys gender. After a talk with our pediatrician she suggested we find out because Eriyln was convinced it was a boy and finding out babys gender would make it so we could better prepare her. On Sept. 9 we had our ultra sound and went right to the store to get the stuff for the gender reveal the fallowing sun. We got black balloons and the right color confetti when we got home after picking Erilyn and Enslie up from a sitter. She found the bag and wanted to work on it right away. We realized that the black balloons we got were just slightly bigger then water ballons and very see thru. We debated going to buy different black ones but were afraid they to would be see thru. I remembered I had some colorful ballons in storage so we pulled those out and experimented every single one was see thru. By this time we had a bunch of confetti filled balloons that were tied off and very see thru. Popping them sounded very messy so we moved on to plan B I had some white paint on hand so we painted them white. While painting it I came up with the idea to make a banner and write IT'S A.... on it, the balloon sizes worked perfect to write it out.

All ready to go the paint made it so they didn't rally pop but you got the main idea.....

We did the reveal during our annual spaghetti and hot wing dinner.
Its kinda hard to see but those are BLUE that's right we finally got our boy!!

I drew this on sun while Enslie was sleeping and
Erilyn was coloring next to me to kill some time. We are super excited and nervous to parent a boy.

This was the first big family announcement since Gran returned to heaven all though I know she was there in spirit it was weird not being able to look to her for her reaction of great grandson #3. Thinking of not having her encouraging words during and after my delivery makes my heart ache. But im glad he has one of the best women I know to watch over and teach him before he comes to earth. I just hope she doesn't enjoy him to much and keeps him past my due date.

My Gran.

I've been dreading this post for awhile but I want to do it so I don't forget anything. On Sept.18 I had to babysit a few older boys and Travis had the day off so he took the girls with him out to his moms so I could clean and do laundry in peace. I let the boys I was babysitting play the wii. About 2 I was in my room folding clothes with my phone in the other room charging. It rang so I walked in and answered it, it was my mom she said I just thought I would call and let ya know Gran is gone. I lost it and ran upstairs so the kids wouldn't see me crying. I called Travis I could barely talk I finally got it out and he came home as fast as he could to be with me. Word got out on fb. and the boys step mom came to pick the boys up early. We went that night to my moms to talk about what would happen and have a family prayer. We decided to spread her ashes that sun next to her husband and in the canyon with only close family. Then the fallowing sat we had family friends meet together eat and talk about the good times.  I had a head ache before I started crying and crying for a day straight made it worse. Being pregnant I couldn't take anything except Tylenol that doesn't work on my head aches so I had a few restless nights. When my head ache finally went away and I could finally think straight my mind went straight to everything I had been taught in church my whole life from the birth of Christ to his resurrection at this point I knew that even though I cant physically see her that she is ok and she is here in spirit. I haven't cried much since then I just feel at peace.

At my wedding almost exactly 5 years ago.

when we went up the canyon Enslie plopped right down and played in the dirt.

These are the only pics I have of the memorial Enslie claimed these rolls and dragged them around and cried when I had to take them from her for a few min to buckle her up.

then when we got home she stole some chocolate and went to town.

Lagoon.

Before uncle Matt leaves for 3 years he really wanted to go to lagoon I was bummed that I wouldn't be able to go on big rides but went so I could the kids could go on some stuff.
This is the bombora its a new coaster by lagoon a beach. Erilyn is in the very back she said she liked it.

Dinosuar drop I wanted to go on it but decided baby probably wouldn't like the sudden drops so daddy took her.

This is what Enslie thought of it.

Taking selfies on the sky ride.

Bulgy the whale Enslie could go on this but because Travis or I couldn't go with her she was scared and tried climbing out but big sister enjoyed it.

The teacups Enslie was scared at first but then decided she liked it.

The stroller strap broke so Enslie got to do some walking because she kept sneaking out of stroller luckily it wasn't to busy so I could keep an eye on her.

Erilyn went on this ride with me then wanted to go again so Aunt Nisha went with her.

Enslie thought the train was awesome and wanted to stand up the whole time.

We had a ton of fun we did have one minor incident getting off the sky ride. I told her to jump, she didn't couldn't hold her weight and get out of the way fast enough so we tripped once I noticed she was on the ground I jumped up before any one saw me to help her. We had to talk to security and get bandaged up along with fill out dome paper work before they would let us go it was definitely interesting.

Fence project.

When we had one car it was awesome to have the car parked in the drive way and still have the gate closed. when we got a second car there was no way of making both fit and the van is alittle wider so we were parking way up in the driveway and angled so we could get the kids out.so we decided to take out the fence.

Enslie was a big helper.

It came out pretty fast and easy.

She said "Take a picture mommy ine super Erilyn!"

We used the fencing we took out to patch up a hole from a when we removed a bush that had grown to be part of the fence.
