Las Vegas 2016

Its always a fun time to go to Las Vegas its far enough it feels like a vacation but close enough we don't spend the whole time traveling. We spent 5 full days this time and tried to do lots of kid friendly things (my parents were supposed to come with us but cancelled at the last min.) I'm doing the whole vacation in one long post so it might take awhile to get thru.
I don't remember where I got this idea from but the kids LOVED it! Its just a tackle box filled with candy it cost $10 total to fill both of them and saved us from having to buy snacks at each stop we would let the kids open them for about 10 min every hour or so. Mommy and Daddy snacked on the extras.

Enslie trying not to look excited.

At one point in the drive Enslie took off her socks put  them on her hands and started rubbing her feet when I asked why? she said " my feet are cold"

We got to Vegas about 3 and our room wasn't ready yet so we went grocery shopping while they finished it, as soon as we got done shopping they called and said our room was ready. We unpacked so we could find the swim stuff and went swimming and to play on the play ground at the hotel.

Enslie was a slow poke coming down the stairs so Erilyn layed down to wait for her. (this is mon morning)

This boy loved the water. But got cold fast so we had lots of cuddle sessions.

The view of the main pool from our room balcony

Playing life size chess the kids thought it was awesome..... for a few min then they got bored.

Korbyn playing in the grass while we finished our game of chess. Daddy won.

Swim time!

Enslie taking a break.

View of the pool from the balcony during the day.

Erilyn got a hold of my phone and took these next few pictures....

Watching Daddy play basketball.

Awe!! They do love each other.

Enslie zonked after playing in the pool and basket ball all morning.

Korbyn tried and loved watermelon

Erilyn carrying the cooler to the car full of snacks for our day on the strip.

Chocolate world.

M&MWorld

At coke world we decided to try the different floats. They were all yummy! when the kids are older and can tolerate caffeine better we will try the cokes of the world.

I don't remember what hotel this was but Erilyn did this pose all by herself.

We decided to ride the high roller ( a really big Farris wheel so she the kids more of Vegas.) Enslie fell asleep on our walk over there.

Selfies with my buggy boy.

Flying baby.

Checking out the view.

Enslie finally woke up about half way thru the ride and was shocked to see how high she was.

This one took a cat nap on the walk to Buddy V's

This was our view from the restaurant we love going to Buddy V's its yummy and well priced for Vegas.

You cant go to Buddy V's with out stopping (at the not so cost effective ) Carlos bakery. Next time we are just ordering dessert from the restraint. but it was fun for the kids to pick out some stuff to try.

After eating we headed to Belajio to see the fountains.

And have a snack.

The girls loved these decorations and had me take a picture.

Playing in water on our walk.

The next day we headed to the Children's museum. this is one of the better ones I've ever been to and it was HUGE we got there at 10 and left at 3 and still missed some stuff a definite must go.

Erilyn is the shadow you see behind Enslie.

They turned on Disney music and the kids put on a show.

They even had a baby play area I think Korbyn approved.

We heard thru the grape vine that the hotel had a Starbucks so after a rough night one night I decided to check it out for a boost of energy and found this huge cinnamon roll that we all shared for breakfast.

Then we headed to see the real mermaids the kids loved it we caught the end of one show.

And walked around the hotel for bit waiting for the next one to start. They had a bait shop that was a lot like Cabellas the kids liked the animals and wanted pics with all of them.

Snack time.

We got back in time to watch them feed the fish that was pretty cool.

Dory!!

He was mesmerized!!

Blowing kisses.

Blowing water rings!!

A trip to Veags isn't complete with out jack in the box.

Packing up to go home!

It was another great family trip and lots of fun memories were made. I felt bad making Erilyn miss her whole second week of school but it was fun and well worth it.
