Organized?

A few months ago as I sit in sacrament meeting (most likely by my self) with a crying baby and a 3 year old announcing to the world she needs to poop. I was trying to listen to testimony meeting one lady in our ward who has 4 kids age 7 4 2 and couple months gets up. She talks about over whelming it is having so many young kids at home and keeping up with everything else( the house her photography business, and keeping 4 kids entertained and fed). She talked about how she was overwhelmed not happy and just not really enjoying her kids like she wants. This caught my interest..... she continued saying she basically had a mental break down because she felt as though she couldn't do it all. When she had a realization that her house doesn't always need to be super clean the laundry can pile and that the kids are the top priority. She says that she makes a weekly schedule and decides what needs to be done what day and sticks to the plan as much as possible.
I got to thinking I've always since I was old enough to do my own laundry have done laundry on Tuesdays but what if I  took what she said and made it my own? I decided on a set weekly schedule and it works wonders for us. No my house is not as clean as it used to be and my laundry piles up more then I would like but me and my kids and husband are happier.
Here's our weekly schedule that I try to stick to as much as possible. Now keep in mind that im also almost always babysitting at my house so Im trying to get all this done with my 2 kids and couple other kids at the same time.
Monday: Cleaning day this day I clean as much as possible cleaning every room in the house. Yes On these days my kids play by them selves a lot watch a lot of tv and spend a lot of time on electronics.
Tuesday: laundry since I collected all the clothes from all over the house the day before and got it all sorted and ready. Between folding and putting away laundry I play with my kids and make sure they know I still love them. If the weather permits we usually got for a walk some where or out to play between loads.
Wednesday: This is usually my husbands day off  and since we are a one car family and I HATE driving we do all of errands this day. I usually take the day off from babysitting. We usually have Kids check ups, dentists, pictures, shopping to name a few. We try to spend quality time as a family we usually if we can afford it and can find a babysitter we go on a date.
Thursday: Is a play day I spend as much time with my kids on this day go for walks play with blocks and read to them in their now trashed rooms. We go for walks maybe to a near by store to get a treat and back home to eat it and just talk. When the baby naps I get one on one time with my 3 year old she picks what we do (usually coloring together) and we play laugh and talk. On this night I get the 3 year old to bed then get my one on one time with my 1 year old before putting her to bed.
Friday: Is kind of a catch up day by this time my kids have dirtied a load of laundry and the house needs some touch up. I do the laundry and touch up the house ignoring the kids rooms and focusing on the rooms potential visitors might see. (the kitchen dining room front room bathroom) and playing with the kids the rest of the day.
Saturday: We kinda play by ear we don't plan much and enjoy playing my husband usually works on Saturdays so its kinda like a Thursday.
Sundays: Church and family time.
Now keep in mind that every day I still have to do dishes, bath kids clean up multiple messes that cant wait till Monday and play with and feed my kids. Having a kind of set schedual helps me to keep my priorities straight and my mind clearer so I can be a better mom and wife.

Erilyns 3 year check up.

This check up was a little different then any other one we have been to since she is now 3. They checked her blood pressure for the first time ( I don't remember the numbers but the said it was perfect for her age.)
She got to be weighed and measured using the big girl ones this time.
Her weight 33 lbs even, (95%)
Her height 39.8 in.  (60%)
They also gave her a bmi of 15%
A few other things they did with her was a direction fallowing exercise..... (with out me pointing or helping in any way) can you pick up the paper? can you put it on the chair? hand it to mommy. she did very well.
They also tested her pen control skills by having her draw a line like min hers almost looked better then mine. I don't know if I've ever written this on here but she is VERY left handed.
Also a coordination test can you jump over the paper?  She was supposed to clear the paper and jump with both feet. She did just that.
The doc was very impressed with how much she talks and understands what you are saying they carried on a conversation for a good 10 min and Erilyn answered all the question very well.
The doc as usual said we have beautiful and very healthy smart girls.

Enslies 12 month stats.

Weight? : 20 lbs  8oz (55 %)
Height? : 32 Inches (officially off the charts at 100+ percent)
She weighs almost exactly a lb more then Erilyn did at this age and is almost 2 inches taller!!
Teeth? : She has 4 and  is working on the 2 on top next to the front ones
Hair? : Lots of blonde hair we are considering her first hair cut soon :-(
Crawling? :Yes she loves it when big sister crawls on the floor with her and chases her around the up stairs.
Cloths size? : 18 month everything since she was 11 months old :-(.
Sleeping? : She is such a good sleeper we have had a few rough nights recently though due to teething and an ear infection.
Bottles?: NOPE! When she ran out of formula and started to drink big girl milk she also ran out of bottles and is now using only sippies or big girl cups :-) She takes a sippy of milk in the morning and one at night with 2 or 3 water/juice sippies during the day. (This is copied completely from Erilyns 12 month stats and is true for Enslie her transition however wasn't as easy I think it was a combination of working on her first top teeth and the fact that she had a bottle for 9 months longer then Erilyn did. but I am SO happy to be past that phase!!)
Baby food? : Yeah right! She thinks she is a big girl and wont let us feed her any more so she eats what ever she can feed her self. (again copied from Erilyns)
Real Food? : Yes she gets mostly big girl food, really anything she can feed her self she will eat. Some of her favorites are frozen yogurt chips, cheerios, and mandarin oranges.
Talking? : She is quite the babbler now she says mom, dad, hi and tries to say peek a boo but it sounds more like pretty haha.
Laughing? : Yes a ton she thinks big sister is one of the funniest people and is constantly laughing at her IF big sister isn't touching her that is. She is also very ticklish on her neck and has cutest giggle.
Smiling? : She is still super happy and smiley. She has the cutest little wrinkled nose smile.
Walking? : Nope, she does love her lion walker that big sister picked out for her birthday and is getting quite good at even going around corners. I have caught her a few times standing on her own but it doesn't last long. She loves to walk along the couch and pull her self up onto things but has yet to take any solo steps.

Enslies Birthday celebration.

We decided at the last min to have everyone over to our house for cake and ice cream on Enslies birthday (jan. 30). Everyone got there right on time. My sister had other plans. we sang happy birthday and started to hand out cake and ice cream. I looked up and noticed president Johnson was here although he was my neighbor growing up and was like a grandpa to me I did not invite him. I was confused then connor pulled out a big white envelope it was his mission call!!! I was going to take pics of the party but got a little distracted. haha  since my sister wasn't able to make it we called her and put her on speeker she could hear.
DEAR ELDER HAMMOND YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED TO SERVE IN THE MILWAKI WISCONSIN MISSION YOU WILL SPEAK THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

Im sorry there are so many pictures I just could not pic a favorite they are so perfect and show my kids personality's so well.

This one was all her idea!

Believe it or not Enslie was not in  a good mood.

She felt so big!!

I love this one because it shows their relationship perfectly!

She was so excited to jump on the bed

Enslie pulls this face a lot!

Cupcake smash time!!

She wasn't sure what to think.....

But got into it really fast

She kept on picking them up and squeezing them out and sucking on the cups.

mmmmmmmmmm!

When we were done Enslie took a mini bath in the bathroom sink while they cleaned up the mess and gave Erilyn a try at the cup cakes.

Fotofly once again exceeded our expectations and we ended up with about 75 more fotos then the usual customer because they too could not pic any favorites.
