Scoliosis update.

On My birthday we got a call from primary Childrens to reschedule Enslies appointment i was so excited and even more excited when it was earlier then expected. She went on May 5th.
She was so excited that she had me curl her pony tail.

Getting into primary Childrens hospital was easier then the eye doctor! They still only let her and one other person attend her appointment. When we walked in the door they just asked if we knew we had the virus, any symptoms or had come in contact with some who had it. Then they took our temperature, we did have to wear face masks. Enslies was to big for her so they gave her this cool Disney one.

This is the X- ray they took before talking with the specialist.

This is the one they took in Feb.  The pictures are kinda hard to see but in Feb. her curve was at 20 degrees and in the new one it was at 11 degrees with a noticeable pelvic tilt to the right ( her hips are not even. One is higher then the other.) The doc. was surprised how much it changed in such small amount of time, but wasn't worried because it was for the better. She said if it was still at 20 degrees she would have to wear a brace at night. But since it went down They cant really do anything at this point but work on having good posture and core strength. She did say that given her tilt and how her back is being effected it could simply be that one of her legs grew faster then the other and it is now starting to catch up or that as she grows its correcting its self but that it will likely be something she has her whole life to some extent. and will have to be monitored closely.  The doc wants us to back in 6 months for a fallow up  appointment and x ray to check her progress.

After her appointment i didn't feel like getting school going again so we did another stain glass window project instead.
