We have been trying to have my wisdom teeth removed since before I got pregnant with Erilyn. Our insurance wouldn't cover our regular dentist because he is not a licensed oral surgeon. He wanted to charge us almost $600 to have them removed. Then I called our insurance got numbers for a few places who said I needed a referral which we didn't get around to getting before I got pregnant with Erilyn. Then I was nursing then we were trying to get pregnant with Enslie. Then I was finally able to do it I called the insurance again called the closest place on the list to schedule an apt. I gave them all the info I specifically told them to double check on the insuance and let me know if there was an issue (because our insurance bills wisdom teeth under medical). They never said anything and told me to fast for 12 hours before and when I went in the morning they didn't say anything about the insurance. They pulled me back for an x-ray then started to go over everything with me they then said they had to double check that the insurance would cover it. They came back and said they were having issues and that they would have to send me home till the insurance specialist came in a few hours later after lots of phone calls and frustration, they told me that they no longer even accepted our insurance and that they couldn't do it. I was so frustrated!! I had a summer baby sitting job so I had to wait till Sept. 21 to have it done. The place originally told me that the co-pay would be $250 but after many more phone calls and frustration we played on $25 to have them removed!! Here are some not so flattering pics haha!....

Its now Sept. 2nd and MOST of the bruising is gone and the swelling is all gone i'm just happy to have it done!!!
