Erilyns 11 year old well check.

 On Jan. 9th Erilyn had her 11 year well check she grew almost exactly 2 inches. and is now 60.4 inches tall (90%) and weighs 83 lbs (75%). she gained almost 14 lbs which the doctor was happy to see after she wasn't gaining much in years before. But she still has a healthy BMI of 15.99. We talked about how she is starting be more emotional and moody but isn't showing many physical signs of puberty. I was kind of a late bloomer and was 13 close to 14 when i started my period, so the doc thinks she is following in my foot steps. But is probably in the early stages with the mood changes and suggested a few books to help her thru it. We have been been really open and honest with her but the book goes into a little more detail then i might think of and helps her feel independent in her learning and curiosity. She got 2 shots she was supposed to get 3 but since she had a tetanus shot a few months ago she didn't need the tdap. She got her first hpv shot as well as her first meningitis shot in preparation for middle school next year! She was given a clean bill of health and was excited go get a mcflurrry after.
