Celebrating 10 years in a BIG way ( a year late) telling the kids and travel day.

Travis and I went to Florida for our honeymoon, on the way back home we talked about how fun it would be take our family back for our 10 year anniversary. Well in 2019 my family decided to go to Disneyland and we weren't sure if wanted / could afford 2 big trip back to back. We were still thinking about it though till March of 2020 and everything shut down completely! We were sad we couldn't make the dream a reality but knew it would happen some day. Well In Feb. of this year travel started happening again and we bought flights and park tickets while they were cheap. We decided to make it more magical to keep it a secret from the Kids. It was extra hard because pretty much the whole school knew because I had to request the time off of work, I had to keep reminding them not to tell the kids. FINALLY the day came!! I told the kids I had an eye appointment so I had an excuse not be at work and went and got this set up as well as packed.
We did 2 days at Disney, 2 days at SeaWorld, and 2 days at Universal, So all the parks a represented. The kids were kinda confused when they walked in but were so excited once we told them what was going on! We spent the rest of the day packing carry ons and prepping for the first time flying with 3 kids.

Of course the elf had to come!! We checked one bag so she could come and not have to worry about making it thru security. This also mad it so we could bring full size bath stuff and extra snacks.

Heading to our gate!

Waiting for our plane to board! Our flight left at 9ish on Dec.4th

On the subway in Atlanta, where we had 3 hour layover.

We brought some of Hammas advent activities to entertain the kids during the lay over as well as got some over priced airport Chic-fil-a for lunch.

Love me a good sunrise! I think this is slc and the pics are kinda out of order...

Ready for take off!

Snack time!! One thing that was cool about our flight out of Atlanta is the flight attendant was on the phone with mickey mouse and didn't realize she was on the intercom so mickey said hi to the kids!.

The Orlando airport had Disney adds everywhere! After a long day of travel we found our shuttle to the car rental and checked into our hotel and pretty much went right to bed! I was so proud of the kids they did so good on the plane Enslie just about cut the circulation of in my hand during the take off / landings though.
