Celebrating 10 years!

When we got married 10 years ago we talked about taking our family back to Florida in 10 years, to show our kids some stuff we did for our honeymoon. Then my family decided to do a big Disney land trip last year. We were still thinking about making it happen..... then 2020 hit! And a pandemic that made it so we weren't sure if we could even fly to Florida let alone do anything once we got there. We decided to post pone that trip for a few years. We ended up booking a hotel in midway about an hour away from us and the kids spent the weekend at uncle Matts house.

When we checked in they asked us what brought us to their hotel and when Travis told them it was for our anniversary, they gave us this goody bag!

On the way there we stopped at wal mart and stocked up on food for the week end we decide to grill up some chicken and enjoy a quiet night in the fist night it was yummy!!

We woke up the next morning and relaxed for a bit before making the cold walk to the pool. We were the only ones and we just stuck mostly to the hot tub and relaxed.

After a shower and lunch we headed to park city did some outlet shopping and visited old down town. We found a yummy restaurant called Collies and had some really good sandwiches and home made fries and chips for dinner.

The next day was conference Saturday so we sat around and watched conference with out any interruptions and ate way to much junk food before making this yummy dinner.

Sunday our check out time was 10 am so we woke up packed up and drove home to see our kiddos and to finish watching conference. The fall colors were so pretty!!

Although it wasn't how we wanted to celebrated our anniversary it was a fun weekend and good break from reality. I cant believe its already been 10 years!!

The kids set up this party for Korbyn one day with out permission they had fun though and i must admit it was cute.

Erilyns crush AJ finally got baby sister and we got to have a play date and play with her one day!! Its crazy how little babies are when you haven't been around them much for a long while.

Erilyn got to climb on uncle Matts house to get down a plane daddy threw up there.

We did a yard sale to sale some of Grandpa Troys stuff. Korbyn found some of grandpas boots and tried them on Troy was a big man and it was cool to Korbyn trying to fill his  boots i bet Troy was proud to see it.

He was excited about this cereal and promptly fell asleep with it, it looks like an add.

We had cousins aver for a party before school school was supposed to start for water play and a bbq.

And of course smores!!

I got a flu shot and if you get one at Target they give you a $5 gift certificate to use so i treated myself to some yummy ice cream!

then we took the kids to their appointment to get their flu shots it was drive thru style and pretty cool and quicker then ever before.

After they got lemonade freezes for being so brave!

Connor was married in April but was finally able to tale Carly thru the temple and have a reception.

He was sealed on a Thursday morning. Since it was during school hours and the kids aren't actually in school right now we had a hard time finding a sitter. I wasn't able to attend the sealing i was just devastated! But i knew Connor knew i tried my hardest to make it work. And he told me he felt me there in spirit which helped.

This is how online pre-k is going.

We went to fair it was weirdly empty, there wasn't as much to do but it was fun to go and do something and the kids had fun. So it was worth it.

We got to go to church.

And Korbyn got stuck in his church shirt.

I hosted an Usborne party and got all of this for like $20!

Our cherry tomato plant went crazy this year and we ended up giving 3 baggies this full away to ladies in the ward. along with 2 or 3 bigger ones to family! And our family ate a ton to.

Korbyn asked if he could make an after school snack one day he thought it all up on his own and set it up like this!

We had a play date with friends at the park.

The kids decided they were thirsting to death and forgot to bring water so one of the moms waterfalled it in to the kids mouths.
