Hammond Family reunion 2020

This year our reunion was in St. George Utah that's about a 4 hour drive for us.
Any thing over 4 hours gets a tackle box snack kit. Usually i surprise the kids with the snacks and put it together this year i let them each tell me 2 things they wanted in them then i added a few more things. And let them help me organize them they had a blast.

The finished product.

All ready to go.

At one point on the drive it was pouring rain but the sky was mostly blue!!

All the girl cousins were excited about this room!! There was just enough beds for them to all be together and having fun!

Cousins having fun!

This is what a Costco trip looks like when your shopping for 24 people and your to scared to do regular check out because you are borrowing a family members card and don't want to get either of you in trouble.

Sunscreen time her legs look like they don't belong to her.

Holding the youngest cousin Brielle. One of my favorite parts of this trip was as long as she couldn't see or hear mom or dad she let me hold and cuddle her!!

The first morning we went to a park called thunder junction. It was SOOO much fun the kids had a blast actually playing a play ground as thats a rare accurance here because the parks close to us are still closed.

Riding the train!

After that we came home and made snow cones!!

And did box of lies.

I decided it was time for the kids to bath as they needed them the night before and it didn't happen when i found them Erilyn was already dressed for bed i told her she had to put the same jammies back on after her bath so this is how she hung them up.

They used the big Jacuzzi tub in the master suit and loved it especially the bubbles.

The temp!!

The next morning we went to a park i don't remember the name and explored it was so much fun and so pretty!!

Erilyn and Hamma have the same shoes from Gramma Cornie.

Mom hiding in the back ground so she can have a break from the baby and some one else can hold her.

It was hot down there!

Cousins glow dance!

I love how close these 3 are! In age and in bonding.

Golden corral on the way out.

The plan on the way out was to go thru Zions but my gps glitched and we missed our exit so we decided to go to the lava tunnels instead. My brother suggested it and failed to tell us that the road to get up to them was scary! But it was cool and the kids loved climbing around.

It was fun but i felt a sense of urgency to get back on the road. So we didn't stay long.

I tried getting pictures of the road on the way out but its hard to tell how bad it was there were tons of holes and divets and big drops.

This is how we kept the kids entertained!! The computer connects to blue tooth so we took a speaker and let the kids watch Disney movies on the way there and back.

Once we got home and unpacked and we settled down to relax for the night we saw on facebook that the road right by where we took our detour to the lava tunnels was on fire!!!! Had we stayed to much longer we would have been caught in it!!
It was a fun little get away i always love trips with family though!!
