Enslies 6 year check up.

Enslie had her well check at the same time as Korbyn. She was 48.3 in tall (90%) and weighed 47lbs 9oz. (75%) (Erilyn did not have a 6 year well check so i Don't have her numbers from then.) Her bmi is 14.32. She is in size 7 pants and 7/8 shirts and dresses. size 1 shoes. The concerns we discussed with her was the fact that she is still peeing the bed almost every night doc. said that it is actually common and that they typically don't worry about it till they are closer to 12 and not to make a huge deal about it. The other concern i brought up about her is that when she eats to much junk food or eats it on an empty stomach it comes right back up. She said that its common for that to happen as well and that its actually probably a good thing because then she will be more likely not to eat to much and become obese or have other issues do to to much sugar intake. We just have to make sure that she is being careful about what she eats and remind her what happens when she does. We found out that she has 20/20 vision and she is a very healthy girl. The only concern the doc had is that her shoulder blades are not even her left side is noticeably higher then her right side and she has to go to primary children's to get an x-ray to check for scoliosis. I will update on that once we have answers. We are getting the x-ray tomorrow.

Korbyns 4 year check up

Korbyn had his well check yesterday. He is officially off the charts for his height at 43.9 inches (100%) Making him and 1.1 inch taller then Enslie and 1.9inches taller then Erilyn was at age 4! And he weighs a whopping 45lbs 8oz. (75%) making him 8lbs 4 oz heavier then Enslie was at his age and 7lbs heavier then Erilyn. His Bmi is 16.6. He is in size 6/7 clothes and size 1 shoes. Some concerns we talked about with him was the fact that her would wear jammies all day every day if he could and the concern with getting him to wear the school uniform when school starts. We discussed having him wear it a few times a week for a few hours a day during the summer to get used to it and possibly earning some sort of reward for doing it. I also expressed my worry about him being the " class clown" at school. She suggested to just see how it goes and said that once most kids get in the school environment they calm down alot. And to call for suggestions if he isn't adjusting well when the time comes. He is very ticklish and laughed and squirmed thru his whole neck check. He also laughed thru the whole check of his boy parts. He passed all the questions and checks. He also got his last shot and is officially ready to start pre-k in the fall. By the end of the check up the doctor said she can see where my concerns are coming from when it comes to him be the "class clown" and that he is very lovable and funny.

Erilyns 8 year well check.

Erilyns well check this year was on the 29th of January. She weighs 60 lbs. ( 50%) and is 53.5 inches tall (90%) and has a BMI of  14.74. The only concern the Doctor had was that she has not gained any wight since she was there in July for her broken finger. And given that she has grown 3 inches since then she should have gained at least 3 lbs. So we are sending her to school with pedia-sure to make sure that she gains some wight by the end of the school year. A few other things that were checked were her back, signs of puberty ( none right now... thankfully!), reflexes, strength, the doc also asked both of us how school was going, if she is struggling with any thing and getting good grades.(no and yes) She is in size 8 pants and 10/12 dresses and shirts. And a childs size 4 shoe... which is a 6 in women's sizes!! She has grown so mach this last year not only size wise but emotionally, and academically as well! She has improved her words read per minute by 30 words since the school year started! It finally just "clicked!"

January Random.

 I swear between 3 sick bugs we got, a Baptism, 2 birthdays, Troys passing, an x-ray, a celebration of life, Figuring out all of troys stuff, a well check and many get together's with family, January had about 100 days this year.

I was asking the kids if they wanted to do swim lessons again and the younger 2 were so excited that they got their suits on and went outside to play i screen shoted the temp. in the 30s

January was a crazy month! Heres to hoping that February is not so crazy!

Troys celebration of life

Troy didn't want a funeral and he donated his body to the u of u for research. So we did a celebration of life. We just had food and hung out and told stories of his life. 

The kids had fun hanging out with  cousins here they are with Ellie Travis' cousins daughter she is about 3 months older then Erilyn.

We all sang happy birthday to her towards the end of the night she was so excited and embarrassed at the same time.

Enslies 6th Birthday.

After school the day before her birthday we went to Smiths and she picked out cupcakes and juice to share with her class at school.

Some how balloons ended up in her room we didn't find out who did it till later...

The morning of her birthday she opened her presents before school a unicorn shirt, more blingers, a twisty pet and a carriage.

She kept the sash that Giggles brought Erilyn for her birthday and wouldn't let me zip up her jacket, she insisted that everyone had to see her sash.

I checked her out of school to go on a lunch date just me and her she chose Wendys because of the frostys

When she got home from school we found this note and Giggles!! She was so excited!

Later that night we did the celebration of life for Travis' Dad she was a little sad that she didn't get to do cake and stuff on her birthday but was happy that she got play with cousins. The next day the 31st we took her to Rush its place that was on our get out pass and it had a ton of stuff to do! It had bounce houses....

After lunch we headed home to prep for the cousins to come over to our house for cake and ice cream. Enslie wanted a strawberry unicorn cake i wanted to try making it. well it was an epic fail! The strawberry cakes were to moist and just crumbled! Luckily we had this white cake in the freezer and i was able to add a few things to it make it a unicorn cake it wasn't the best but it got job done and Enslie was happy that's all that matters.

Her set up i made brownies as well and put out left over sugar cookies.

She also got noise makers and stickers from the $1 store.

The neighbor girl came over to play not knowing it was Enslies birthday and ran home and brought this over to surprise her the girls all thought it was pretty awesome and insisted on getting pictures done.

I think over all she had a great birthday she was happy that she got to be with cousins on both sides and that her friends Anna, Ben, and Marly came.
