Korbyn 9 months

9 months stats.
Weight? : 21.14 lbs (85 %) This boy LOVES to eat. He is 3 lbs heavier then Enslie and 6lbs heavier  Erilyn was at her age.
Height? : 30.3  inches (90%) almost an inch shorter then Enslie at her age,  And 2 in and a half taller then Erilyn was.
Teeth? : 2 on the bottom and 4 on the top getting ready to poke thru any day now.
Hair? : he had his first hair cut a couple months ago. since he is a boy I like to keep it short so I can spike it and put mohawks in it.
Sitting? : yes I don't remember if the girls were doing this at his age or not not but he can go from his tummy to his back to sitting all by him self.
Rolling? :  Yes he canget around pretty good.
Crawling: he Just rolls every where he is starting to get on all 4s and wiggle his little bum. He does an army crawl if he really wants stuff but usually  just rolls around or reaches for things.  And is quite the little vacuum, like his sisters.
Sleeping? : He is such a good sleeper she sleeps from about 8 or 9 till 7 or 8 in the morning.
Nursing? : Yes but I think he is slowly weening himself he went form eating 8-10 times a day for 7-9 min each time to 4-6 for 5-7 min each time. He usually wants to nurse when he is tired or upset, but wants to drink from his sippy and eat big boy food other wise.
Baby food? : Yes this boy has LOVED everything we have let him try except baby peaches.
Real Food? : yeah this boy just loves food and sisters love to share with him! he has tried almost everything now including a slice of pizza. (see picture below)
Talking? : He says dad when he is happy and mom when he is sad he also says hi and ya but never at the right time. Sisters really want him to start talking more so he can call their names or sis would make them happy to.
Laughing? : Yes a ton he loves to laugh especially at big sisters.
Smiling? : Yes his little smile is so contagious!
Walking? : Nope, The doc did say she thinks he will walk early though because he is already so strong.

He is almost the same size as big sister! And when I get around to switch his clothes he will be wearing a size just smaller then her. (2t)

It has been so fun to finally raise a boy he is so calm (as long as he has a full tummy) and a cuddle bug. He wants daddy unless he is wanting to nurse.

Conference week end/ our anniversary.

Conference week end was a very busy one for us! We started it off with one of Erilyns soccer games then ran home so Erilyn could change before heading out to Tooele to clean Grans grave.

After cleaning the grave we went to middle canyon to eat KFC (Grans favorite.) The fall colors were beautiful and exactly what gran would have wanted she loved driving in the canyons to see the fall colors.

On the drive down I had to get more pictures the clouds were so pretty also.

When we were done In the canyon we headed to Ashleys house to drop the kids off so Travis and I could go on a date for our 6th anniversary.We walked around down town got some expensive chocolate and ate Tucanos for dinner. It was a fun and busy weekend we were supposed to record conference but forgot to so we are going to have to wait for the ensign to come out so we can read the Saturday talks.

Chocolate syrup

I'm going to start and end this blog with cute pictures of my kiddos and the middle is going to be the chocolate syrup disaster.

One day I was sitting in the front room nursing Korbyn and the girls were in the kitchen making chocolate milk or so I thought!! Kyla got to our house to pick up Alexa just as I was finishing up feeding the baby and she walked in and said you might want to come check this out. I was like oh great and I turn the corner and find this!!

She was so proud of her self until I told her no tv for  either of them the rest of the day not even at bed time. I almost wanted to laugh but yell all at the same time I was literally speechless . Cleaning it up sucked I mopped the floor 3 times and Travis mopped it once before it wasn't sticky any more.

I got to help out in Erilyns preschool class one day they did senses stations and I did the taste one so I could  see the kids reactions to the lemon this was Erilyns.

Korbyn's rough week.

I'll start this post off with some cute pics and end it with some cute pics the pics in the middle are just sad.

He is getting more and more mobile but the day and was med when he got stuck under the end table the other day.

He fell asleep as I was getting Erilyn ready for school one day. I figured if I let him sleep and bundled him up in a blanket in the stroller he would sleep no he did not like that idea and refused to keep the blanket on good thing it was warm that day and all the parents ooed and awed about cute and chubby he is.

We finally found a white church shirt big enough for him and he looked so cute all dressed up.

He grabbed the bowl of food I was feeding him when i wasn't looking one day and helped himself. This is the innocent but I'm cute face he gave me when I asked him what he did. 

Then he started laughing when I smiled and he knew he wasn't in trouble.

That night (sun) I bathed him, got him in his jammies and layed him one Enslies bed with a toy like I always do. And turned to grab Enslie a pull up from her closet and turned around just in time to watch him fall off her bed and smash his face right into the vent on her floor. Judging by the sound it made I was sure I was going to pick him up to find blood streaming down his face. He was SCREAMING  bloody murder and I was starting to worry about a concution. I finally got him to calm down enough to check his eyes luckily the responded well to light. but we were both pretty shaken up he was crying I was crying. I started taking pictures so I could watch for extreme swelling, or any odd changes.

Luckily it didn't really bleed, but he did have 5 perfectly spaced scratches on his poor head.

When Travis got home he put the girls to bed. and I gave Korbyn Tylenol checked his a few more times and nursed him before a few extra cuddles and putting him to bed. A few days later you couldn't even tell anything happened. 

He is about as big as Enslie!!

Relaxing one day waiting for sister to get done with school. If you look closely you can see a little bruising where he hit his head.

His sister sure does love him.

He loves to swing.

I was sitting outside one day watching the girls play with the neighbor girl. I had just got done feeding Korbyn some baby food and he was playing with the spoon. When I heard some buzzing then Korbyn started freeking out and hitting face and screaming. I knew at that point he had to have gotten stung. So I turn him around to face me when I did that I noticed the bee on my leg so I took a picture incase I needed to show a doc or something. Then I noticed that she stinger was still in
Korbyns lip so I pulled it out and noticed that his lip was already really swollen. I panicked ( my brother and dad are allergic to bees ) because it was swelling so fast i called the doc office. Luckily I didn't have to wait to talk to a nurse and one picked up the phone. They were very informative and helped me calm down they said to ice it watch for wheezing or shortness of breath, to give him Tylenol now to help with the pain, and Benadryl before bed to help with the swelling and to help him sleep. If the swelling got worse or the wheezing started to go to the ER asap. Luckily Tylenol, Benadryl, lots of teethers and mommy cuddles did the trick and we once again dodged the ER visit.

Now some cute ones!! He pulled him self up on the coffee table one day and was so proud of himself he kept on laughing!! I got a video but I can never get them to down load onto the blog.

And lastly he got try his first sugar cookie!! ..... I think he approved!
