First project of the summer!

A few summers ago we redid the girls rooms but ran out of steam by the time it got to korbyns room. So he got a cat instead..... said cat ruined his carpet. So before we took out his carpet we let him choose colors and paint his room.

Patching up multiple holes took all day.

Then after lots of taping it was time to painta

The kids were kinda helpful...

We took a  break and went to a few appointments and Travis's softball game.

The dark blue took 3 coats and 2 gallons of paint! It was so dark you could see every little flaw so easily. After that dark blue was dry we pulled out the carpet, To realize that the padding underneath had been installed upside down! No wonder his carpet stunk and took forever to dry when we cleaned it!

After lots of pulling up staples and tack board we cleaned the floor I forgot how pretty the floors are!

I love how his closet turned out!

He is loving his new room! And it smells so much better in there!

Days 6, 7, and home.

The kids decided to try a different pool

We went out to a fancy dinner. Travis's family decided to go home alittle early Matt wasn't feeling well. They left a few day before we did and spent a few days I'm las vegas they were all kinda ready to be home.

The next day we relaxed in the hotel room and played the switch and watched movies.

Then tried out this donut place the kids have seen on YouTube. 

Before more pool time!

We packed up and were on the road about 9.

 We stopped for gas, lunch, and snacks. There was burger King and coasta vida. I've never been to coasta Vida and I'm not a huge burger King fan, so I decided to try it. My lettuce was all black and slimy I tried to pick out the bad stuff but only managed a few bites before I lost my appetite. The kids picked a snack and I grabbed chips since I didn't eat much. Pictured above is Erilyns snack, poop shaped things are very in right now it tasted like coke. We got home safely unpacked, started luandry And had an early night. I woke up sick early the next morning. Let's just say I'm gonna stick to cafe Rio from now on.
