Day 5 San Diego zoo And Day 6 flying home.

 

Our original plan was another day at the hotel packing up and swimming but the kids were nervous to swim after the odd rashes they got the day before. So we bought last min. tickets to the zoo and it was a very good last min choice! The pictures uploaded back ward 3x and its alot to change around. I did move the flight home to the bottom and his picture to the top the rest are backwards and I'm not sure why.

Part of the reason we were planning on staying at the hotel is it was supposed to rain on and off  all day which it did but i think it was a good thing because it kept the locals away, it wasn't super busy.! And we got to see this rainbow while waiting for our uber home.

One of the first things we did was ride this bus it was  very fun tour around the zoo and didn't start raining till we got off which was good because we were up top!

They had a deal where if you bought a souvenir cup you could fill it up as many times as you wanted for free on the first day. So we got one and went to table drank all of it and filled it right back up in less then 5 min. later. because it was $8 just for one smaller soda. We filled that thing up a few times!

We saw an animal show with lots of cool animals including this sloth!

A dog and cheeta who were friends!

And parrots.

They even got to see an armadillo up close!

When the rain stopped and the sun came out you could see the rain evaporating off of Travis' coat!

The bears were so funny! The one laying flat on its stomach was so stinking cute!

Excited for the Zoo!

We had a 2:30 flight home so we stayed at the hotel till check out and then headed to the airport  we got thru security pretty quick.

Before we boarded we decided to get lunch at the air port we were happy to find jack in the box!! Soon though we wont have to go hours away for Jack in the box they building one 10 min from us!!
