Day 8-Pool day and talk like a Pirate day.

We went back and forth till literally the night before on what we were gonna do this day. Some of the family went to Sea World. We wanted to go but were afraid the kids would be grumpy from the non-stop busy days back to back. We learned on Tues that Cali. traffic sucks! They also really wanted to swim in the hotel pool but since we had been gone from 7am-10pm pretty well every day we hadn't had time. We decided to ask them what they wanted to do and they all wanted to stay at the hotel and swim.

So we lathered on the sunscreen and headed to the pool.

We go there right as it opened and were basically the only ones there for awhile.

I was in and out of the pool doing some laundry.

After swimming we changed and played on the putt putt course the resort had.

Then we rented some movies from the front and the kids relaxed while i cleaned up the room and did some packing.

We got a text from the hotel that it was national pirate day. They had  a treasure hunt for the kids and some eye patches to wear.

We found all the stuff on the treasure map (except  one that we found out had been moved later)

And earned some "Pirates Booty"

Then they had some treasure boxes for the kids to decorate. They all thought they were pretty cool.

They also had pirate hats for the kids.

We also did a bit of grocery shopping this day to restock on snacks and buy caffeine-a case of it for $10 instead of 1 large one for $5

Day 7 California Adventure.

We got to California Adventure just as it was opening and looked at the app. The longest wait was the cars racer so we nabbed up the fast pass and headed to ride other stuff in cars land.

Erilyn was excited to "dance" in a teal car so had to get picture of it.

Erilyn rode the incredicoaster with cousin London the other 2 were to short so they rode the carasel after.

The kids then decided that they needed ice cream.

We checked out "Inside out" and rode the ride.

On the way out the kids wanted to ride this ride.

Di-spite our efforts to keep Korbyn awake he fell asleep so daddy and Erilyn rode Indiana Jones while he slept and Enslie enjoyed a treat.
Enslie also looked in the bag around this time and found their princess dresses,I told her it was encase they wanted to wear them . But when we got stuck on grizzly rapids i kept the girls happy by telling them the real reason we had their dresses with us....

When the girls first found out we were going to Disney Land one of the first things they asked us to do was Bibbity bobbity boutique. We looked into it and it wasn't the cheapest thing! So we told them no.

As it got closer and i watched more girls Do it on YouTube and TV i decided we NEEDED to do It!

I just had to convince Travis finally 2 weeks before he said yes!! I booked it right then. 

We decided to make it more special we would keep it a secret as long as possible.

They could hardly wait to change into their dresses and take before pictures.

Finally it was time.  They couldn't stop smiling!!

Introducing  Princess Cinderella! ( They referred to the girls as princess Enslie and Erilyn till their transformations were done then it was Princess Cinderella and Belle)

After she felt so beautiful! And loved the attention the cast members gave her after her transformation.

Korbyn finally woke up and wanted to take some pictures as well.

After Erilyn was so excited to run into Belle and the Beast on a ride.

After the boutique and a few rides we walked across the street to Ihop because kids eat free. What they don't tell you is that the prices are double what they are in Utah and only 2 kids ate free so it was about the same as eating in the park!!

We had replacement fast passes to use from when the grizzly rapids ride broke down on us so Erilyn, Korbyn and i rode the new tower of terror ride that had sold out fast passes for the day!!

Then we got spots for the world of color!

It was amazing!!

After we headed back to the hotel to take the girls make up off and hair out.

There was so much gel hair spray and glitter in their hair it stayed like this even when everything was out!!
Although the boutique wasn't the cheapest I'm so glad we ended up doing the girls were in absolute heaven!!
