Two hysterically luaghing 2-year-olds......

Just out of your sight =

No you are not imagining things that is a WHOLE bottle of hot sauce spread all of my dining room!! I was sitting just out of sight feeding Enslie. They were taking the spices from the spice rack and putting them on the table witch is a no-no but it was keeping them entertained while I feed the baby so I let them do it. All of sudden they both start laughing hysterically. I know its going to be bad, Enslie is almost done so I finish feeding her and walk over to see what's so funny. This is what I find, needless to say it was an early nap time that day. It took mopping the floor, cleaning the table, chairs and lots of frebeze to get my house not to smell like hot sauce.

Our adventures lately

I was folding laundry the other day and Erilyn decided to dress her self. This is what she came up with..... Long socks and under wear put on wrong. She put them on her self .

We got a stroller that fits both girls but will grow with them im excited to get lots of  use out of it this summer.

Now that Erilyn finally has hair I've been having fun experimenting and giving her "princess hair."

We planted strawberries, raspberries and flowers the other day Enslie had fun laying in the shade on the grass watching us.

Erilyn put on Enslies pants the other day they were small 3-6 month pants but because she is such a skinny mini they fit her and looked like shorts

These are the same pants but on Enslie.

April conference 2014

This year for conference I really wanted to be able to watch as much as possible so I brought lots of snacks and Erilyns church bag in our room. I let her lay in our bed, eat snacks and play with her church toys not during sacrament witch is all something she doesn't get to do ever. She enjoyed it during the first session how ever it went down hill from there. She made a huge mess but we had fun and I look forward to doing it again in 6 months.

Erilyns First dentist visit.

Erilyn had her first dentist apt the other day we had check ups also and ours were first so we figured that she would do ok after watching both of have our teeth polished and checked. She however would not open her mouth. From what the dentist could tell her teeth look great though.

2 Months.

I know I always say this but I really cant believe Enslie is already 2 months old! It seems like just yesterday I was trying every trick in the book to put my self in labor. She is the sweetest baby and LOVES to cuddle. She eats 3 to 4 oz every 2 hours during the day and sleeps from about 10-6 every night, give or take a few hours. She still loves to be bundled and hates getting her clothes changed but doesn't mind having her bum changed. She loves baths and splashes like crazy. She sleeps no matter what in the car. If I don't cut her nails every few days she scratches herself and others. She can already hold her head up during tummy time but isn't huge fan of being on her tummy unless some one is holding her. She doesn't really cry unless she is hungry or poopy/pooping. At her 2 month check up she was weight 10 lbs. 4 oz and was 23.5 inches tall. They said she looks great especially with the traumatic week she had before her check up. The doc even said she was gelouse with how great of sleepers my kids are and asked what my secret was. Honestly I think im just SUPER lucky. But a few things we do is we only bundle her at night or in the car, we do not use a binky (witch often wakes kids up when they fall out of their mouth) and we usually do a warm bath and rub down with lotion right before bed.

She was mad she wasn't bundled right any more.

First time wearing shoes.

I layed Enslie down for tummy time one day Erilyn scooted her over and joined her.

RSV/Bronchiolitis

On march 8 I noticed Enslie had a stuffy nose, a low fever (99.7) and she was super fussy wich is not like her. Just to be safe we scheduled an apt at her docs office. They said it was just a virus but to watch for signs of it getting worse. The fallowing Friday I noticed that she was either refusing to eat or throwing most/all of it up. By sat I was tired of cleaning up throw up and starting to worry that she was getting dehydrated. After we went to dinner for my moms birthday we decided it was time to take her to insta-care. Shaless  and Jared offered to take Erilyn for us so we could get her checked out with out having to chase Erilyn around also. When we got there we checked in and since it was close to closing time they didn't have many people there. So we got right back they checked her weight temp. and  then her oxygen level it was around 87. The doc came in and checked her ears..... nothing. He also checked her for dehydration she wasn't dehydrated.....yet. He said to watch for dehydration and try to feed her half her bottle then the other half  20 min later since it seemed that being stuffed up was giving her an upset stomach. We decided to keep her home from church since we still weren't sure what was wrong and she was still throwing up ALOT. She was up almost all sunday night/ Monday morning crying cuaghing and throwing up what I ever I gave her. By tues we decided to get her an apt. at the docs office. When I called they wanted to see her sooner rather then later but since Travis had work and i was baby sitting the earliest we could do it was. 2 we got an apt for 220 they were running behind so we didn't get back till about 3 they weighed her( 9lbs 6oz)  checked  her temp. (99.7)they then took us to a room and checked her oxygen level the nurse looked worried and changed the position of the monitor and checked it again she said that the monitor must be broken so she left to get another. I could hear commotion in the hall way she back in with the doc and checked again they still looked worried they said that her oxygen was low it was 80-84 normal is 100 they said since it was so low and she was so little they had to take her to Primary Childrens Via Ambulance! I lost it! They said she would be fine but that she would definantly spend a few days there. Since her docs office is at st. marks the ambulance people came up right away and we were off to primary children's. I went with Enslie and Travis and Erilyn went home to get some stuff then meant us at the hospital. When we got there they admitted her right away and got her on some oxygen they got her weight, height, temp and oxygen levels. Then they did a deep suctioning of her nose they got lots of snott out, they were surprised how much. They then swabbed her nose to have  labs done to see what it was that she had. We got moved up to the infant unit the results came back RSV positive she also was positive for bronchiolitis. Since she was dehydrated she had an iv put in and had iv fluids for a few hours, til they stopped them because she kept a full 3 oz down. They continued to suction her before every feeding until she could keep a bottle down with out it. She went a full 5 hours with out needing oxygen then had a cuaghing fit she was having a hard time recovering from so they put the oxygen back on and sent her home on a little bit of oxygen. She was at the hospital from 330 tues march 18 to about noon on Thurs. 20. The next day the 21 we went to the docs office again they checked her over and tried to see what she would do off of the oxygen she did amazingly and they decided that she ok with out it!! yay!! I have to say that this is the hardest thing about being a mom is I hate seeing my girls sick or in any kind of pain I just with I could take it from them.
All hooked up.

So sad looking. Since she is so little they had to tape up her iv really well so it wouldn't come or get pulled out. The poor girl kept hitting her self in the face with it.

Finally caught a smile!!

If you look close you can see her hair standing straight up after a bath. They gave her the nick name baby Einstein after that because his hair looked like his.

Erilyn entertained her self one day when she came to visit baby sister.

Happy to be home! even if it was on oxygen.

Yay no oxygen!

Her beautiful oxygen tank for when she was home we also had a portable one for on the go.

"Mommy baby Ensie hold Erinyn han!" They sure do love each other. :-)

Erilyns First uttered prayer.

The other day at dinner we sat down and said a blessing on the food. After we said amen and began to eat Erilyn folded her arms again and uttered her first prayer with out help. " Heaveny father...... Thank you baby sister.......Amen!.. YAY!" She clapped, I think she was almost prouder of her self then we were. I hope she always loves her baby sister as much as she does now.
