Travis birthday, a surprise, and vegas.

This year for travis birthday i decided to get him an outdoor basketball hoop, so i started taking out money everytime i went to the store. So that when i did buy it he wouldnt wonder why i made such a large purchase. His birthday was on friday and on wed i ended up with my moms car so i decided to go buy a basket ball, some of his favorite candy, and something we will talk about later :-) so i could givethem to him in the morning and have his basketball hoop set up when he got home after work on his birthday. The other thing i got from the store was pregnancy tests i had a feeling i was and i just wasnt feeling right, so i took the first one and even though i new i was pregnant seeing the double lines was a shocker!!... So i took another one this time a digital one and that one was positive too so i decided to wrap them with the basketball and candy and since i couldnt wait two days to tell him ( it was hard enough not calling him at work ) i gave him his presant early on thurs before he had to go to work. He saw the basketball first and then the candy then my heart started to pound as he pulled out one of the tests, the first thing he said was sorry becuase i didnt want to pregnant before our vegas trip but oh well vegas was still fun!! And we are allready planning on going back next year with our baby:-) since we couldnt do rides and stuff in vegas we saw the blue man group instead and i would not mind seeing them again they were awesome!!! and well worth the money. Travis loved all of presants and is excited and nervouse to be a dad and me im just plain excited!!

My birthday and easter.

This year my birthday landed on easter witch ment i had to go to church so my primary kids could sing to me they were so excited!! We went to my grans house for brunch we had green eggs and ham!! Then we had to leave to go to church real fast so i could teach my class (and get sung to) then we went back up to my grans house and had my favorite kind of cake. mmmmmm better then sex cake or to die for cake or what ever you call it hahaha. I stayed late and played games with my gran over all it was a great birthday, and easter the easter bunny even came to our house!!!
On monday travis took the day off so we could change my last name to his (the reason we waited so long was so that we could save a few bucks. why you ask? since i was turning 21 they would not renew my license early witch ment if i did change my name in october when we got married it would have cost me 20 bucks for the name and address change then and additional 25 in april for my renwal we decided to wait till my birthday and pay just 25 and save us 20 bucks!) So any way we got my name changed on the social security card first then the drivers licnese division and the bank then i spent the next day calling places like att and dirctv to change it there to but the rest of the day we spent getting my ring cleaned going to chuck a rama and watching water for elephants it was an awesome 2 day birthday!! :-D

Our newest addition!

I have been trying to convince Travis for a while that we needed a bunny, but he was hesitant because when he was younger he used to raise them then kill them and eat them. So he was not wanting a bunny. So we were thinking a guiny pig but he decided that he didn't want to have caged animal, till we have kids. So we decided to get a dog! We searched on ksl various pet stores and the Pound before we found the puppy we wanted at a pet store called marks ark. I saw him and immediately knew he was the one he was a Little out of our price range but i just couldn't leave the store with out him. We were having some troubles coming up with a name so i had the idea to ask my niece and nephew for a little help, of coarse they were napping so we had to wait for them to wake up. My nephew who is ubsessed with Lego star wars for the wii said we should name it luke skywalker!! we decided that was a Little to long lol so we started to play with the name we could name it lu or luwii, or luke. Then it came to us his name is...... drum roll please!.......... Luigi!!! Both my niece and nephew loved it! cuz they are also huge Mario fans!! He is such a good boy he has only had one accident that we know of and whines to go out side to potty!

Hi I'm Luigi! My birthday is Jan. 3, 2011 i weigh just under 4 lbs and I'm about 12 inches long! I'm a pek-a-poo that's slang for pekingese poodle mix! I love to chew on things mom thinks its cuz I'm teething but the truth is i just want to play! I like to fallow people around and bite their ankles cuz i think its funny when they jump!..... well until they accidentally step on my tail ill learn not to do that eventually. Other then that I'm a really good puppy and I'm a good cuddler well at least i think :-D

ALL CUAGHT UP!!

I have been trying to update the blog for awhile but for some reason the pics wouldnt upload today they did!! I was super excited to be all cuaght up!! Enjoy!

Date night and the DSi

The night we got the rebate we decided to have date night there were no movies playing at gateway that we wanted to see. So we decided to go to the dallor movies our movie tangled 3D didnt start till 9:20 (it was 6;30). So we decided to go to sizzler to have steak it was super yummy!! We still had time to kill so we went toys r us for awhile and looked around travis decided he wanted a DS. We decided that it would probily be cheeper at game stop, so we walked over there and they were cheeper!!! We ended up getting a DSi for only 149.99 i got two games and he got 1 we both decided we didnt like our games so the next day we returned them and he got the new pokemon game and i got a harvest moon game!! Its been fun to have something to do when he is sleeping and im not tired or when he is watching something i really dont want to.
Waiting for the movie to star t we still had some time to kill i loved the movie though it was one of my favorites of all time!!

DEBT FREE!! well besides the house and car!

Debt has always scared me. I bought and fixed up my first car with cash. when i was 18 i got a credit card and in 3 years i have never payed intrest or came close to maxing it out. Travis on the other had a maxed out credit card, a car loan, a personal loan and a loan for his lasic surgery with a 23 percent intrest rate!!!! He cut up and payed off his credit card and personal loan, he also payed off my ring in 2 months. When we bought the house we decided we didnt want ot have drag our luandry back and forth to some ones house to get it done. So we decided to go buy a washer and dryer. We did 12 months no intrest and recently paid that off also. Our tax reabate this year was awesome we we got almost 11,000 back witch helped us pay off our window loan, rc willey, and his lasic surgery. We even had enough to put about 1500 in savings for emergencies and my 21 birthday. We even put some money towards paying off the car. It feels so good not to be almost completely out of debt i cant wait till all we have is the house so we can save like crazy!!! And not have to worry about how we are going to make the next payment or buy groceries.

Kamrin and Shaless' birthday dinner.

Every year since i can remember gran has been doing birthday dinners for the grandchildren. We do them about every month and two grandkids including the in laws whos birthdays are in that month get to choose somewhere special to go out and eat for thier birthday. Last month it was kamrins birthday on the 3 and shaless' birthday on the 13. They chose to go to the red rock cafe it was really good food!!

She sure does love any kind of dip this katchup the ate almost the whole bowl!!!

She was luaghing so hard! travis was making her run while she was siting down his arms were sore the next day.
