State fair 2023

The kids all had an early out one Friday so we went to the state fair! here they are in the mirrors maze of the fun house.

They are all getting a little to big for the little hands on the farm experience but still had fun!

The baby animals were a big hit.

the kids rode this a faw times but said the big yellow slide is better.

They begged to do this jumping thing so we gave in and let them have some fun!

They thought this ride had a funny name and rode this a few times as well.

pony rides were a hit!

We had so much fun!

Also have to get a picture of the butter sculpture`!

This year the reunion was at bear lake. Because I had moved schools I was technically still in training and really couldn't take time off. It was also a holiday week so although Travis originally had it approved for time off he was going to have to bust his butt to have Friday off, also my kids really didn't want to miss school so early on in the school year for the 3rd year in a row. So we chose to go up a day later then everyone else after school and work on Friday.

The kids were excited to turn a corner and see the lake!

That night we did a Hamma night and the kids liked getting to try food she had while travelling the world with her military dad.

The next day after lunch we headed out to the lake. It was a little on the chilly side and open water isn't my favorite thing to swim in so I stayed on the shore and watched everyone play and even got some baby Rex time.
