Its great to be 8! Baptism photo shoot.

Since Enslie turned 8 that meant she got to go shopping for a baptism dress with mommy and Hamma When she saw this dress she literally squealed and said "its a POOF!" She immediately had to try it on and fell in love with it so we had to get it for her! It was a cold day when we had her photoshoot but she was so cute and posed and cuddled up in a blanket between shots.

 

Enslies 8 year well check.

  When I called to schedule the kids well checks I scheduled them all for different days, since they are getting older I think its better to try to keep them separate. But they called a few days later and said that Korbyn's app needed to be rescheduled because the doc. wasn't going to be in the office that day I didn't realize till I went to write it down his was right before Enslies. I was happy because this meant I wouldn't have to drive up there twice in one week but Enslie was not happy she now had to share this with her brother hahaha and kept on erasing his name off the board.

Enslie measured 54 inches tall (95%) and 60.6 lbs (70%) Her BMI is 14.56 (Erilyn  weighed 60 lbs. ( 50%) and was 53.5 inches tall (90%) and had a BMI of  14.74. )

She was also given a good bill of health. At 8 they start looking for signs of puberty, she has none. She says she is happy with how we are maintaining her stomach issues and anxiety. She can still see the scoliosis but says it looks to not be as bad as as she remembers. We have an appointment with the spine specialist on the 15th and will see what she says.

Korbyns 6 year well check.

Korbyn was so excited to got to his well check, until I remembered the particular room we were in was the room he was circumcised in he asked what that was and when I told him he hid!! I had to explain to him that it wouldn't happen again and he was good.

He was 50.9 inches tall (off the chart for percentage) and 61.8 lbs  (100%) he's a BIG kid but still has a healthy BMI of 16.69. Enslie at age 6 was 48.3 in tall (90%) and weighed 47lbs 9oz. (75%) Her BMI was 14.32 (Erilyn did not have a 6 year well check so i Don't have her numbers from then.) 

He was given a perfect bill of health and the doc was happy to hear is starting to read and is learning to control his ADD with help of our amazing school counselor.

Enslies 8th birthday.

Giggles made her appearance and brought a few gifts and a note.

She opened her present from mom and dad before church.

She was so excited for a microscope!

Then she had a few friends over for cake and  root beer floats

She had a great birthday and is looking forward to getting baptized in a few days.
