May random

This girl graduated from a booster!!

Enslie got a sunburn. It went a way fairly quickly and she never really complained.

I lifted up a blanket to put it in the washer one day and all of this fell out of it. Including the channel changer that had been missing for awhile..... this is what happens when kids clean! They just pick up the whole blanket and put it in the laundry room.

All the kids actually getting along.

Erilyn tried a hover board for the first time.

The kids kept them self's entertained while mom and dad made a $$$ purchase i will do a whole post about it once its finally all done.

Korbyns dentist appointment.

When we all went to the dentist in Feb. Korbyn was finally still enough for the dentists to get good x-rays and look at his teeth. I pretty much knew he had at-least 2 cavities in the back because he would cry when we brushed his back teeth and  his pediatrician said she thought she saw at least one during his 4 year check up. What i wasn't prepared for was the fact that he had 8 cavities one in each molar and that 2 of them were root canals!! She Said that all though she does root canals on kids often that she would fell more comfortable referring us to a pediatric dentist who could do it all at once and put him under for ease of trauma. I called the referred dentist they got us in the same day and i really liked the office and staff. Until i saw the quote!! It was over $700!! i asked if we could use our medical insurance to or instead and she said that because he is under 5 he could do it at primary children's  and it could be cheaper depending our insurance plan etc. their quote was Over $800! we called the dental insurance and they basically didn't cover anything he needed done. Travis and i talked it over and decided to do it at the dentist  When i called them back they booked us for June 18th. they called the day before with a 7am check in which was nice because he couldn't eat anything after midnight since he was going under i had to wake him up to put him in the car to go which was good because he didn't ask to eat. I was a big ball of nerves because this was the first time any of my kids had gone under for anything. They were very good about explaining everything to me and keeping me and him calm.
Watching a movie waiting for the doc to come in. They let me hold him while the medicine started working and then sent me out my car to nervously wait since the virus makes it hard for people to sit in waiting rooms.

It was the longest 45 min of my life but they said he did great! He did have a hard time Waking up but they said it was normal for kids his age to do that. Since he was still pretty out of it they had me lay the front seat all the way down and  prop up his neck to keep his airways open. He was pretty out of it and i got funny videos of him. i'm just glad its over with and he isn't in pain any more.

He thinks his caps from the root canals he got are pretty awesome and he shows everyone!!

Finally using our get out pass.

Like I said earlier the entertainment industry took a hard hit because of the pandemic including everything on our get out pass being closed. A few weeks in a got an email that our passes would be good for 15 months instead a 12 months and they would let us know asap when things started to open up. The first thing to open was fat cats so we took the kids bowling it was so much fun.
They love to bowl and get out of the house as much as possible so it was  perfect activity for everyone.

But by the end they were so done so we got some food ate and left.

A few things they did to keep people safe was they only sold every other lane. Once we picked our balls they had to stay there we couldn't switch or take them back  when we were done. Because they had to sanitize them and the whole area them selves once we left.

A movie theater all to our selves?

During this pandemic the entertainment industry really took a hit! The movie theaters who are usually open every day of the year had to shut down, to help keep them afloat they opened up the theater mid may with guidelines in place. Basically meaning that you could rent out the whole theater and get a large popcorn and drink for each person for a pretty decent price. We decided to give it a try and go as a family the cousins were so excited to go to a movie and be together to do something fun for the first time in a while.

Waiting for Hamma and Hampa who accidentally went to the wrong theater!

Look at all that popcorn and soada!

It was so much fun to have all the cousins together and to not worry about bugging other people once they got bored and started playing games and wondering around the theater. At the end they all danced in the front of the theater to the closing credits it was definitely a highlight of quarantine thats for sure!!
