Garage project.

We switched insurance companies about a year ago. They kept everything the same then after some more thinking about it they decided to lower how much our garage was insured for which was fine with us because they sent us a check for the difference. Well our insurance was up again and they decided that if we didn't fix up they were going to drop our coverage!! So during the coldest October in Utah history we decided to paint it in  a brisk 55 degrees we primed and painted the garage! and in an effort to not ruin our jackets or coats did it with out them

After we ran out of paint and lost our helpers got frozen and went in for hot chocolate. Travis finished it up the rest of the painting later in the week i will have to get a better after picture later.

Spooky ginger bread house.

I saw this house at Sams club and had to have it I surprised the kids with it after school one day. They were so excited to make it! Im not sure where the pics I got of them working on it went. But this is the finished product.

As soon as they were done taking pictures they smashed it and ate it!

First stitches?!

On Tues the 8th. i got a phone call from the girls school right as i sat down to eat lunch, they said that Erilyn fell at school running inside after recess. She broke her glasses and they cut her eye brow it was pretty bad and they were pretty sure that she at least needed it glued shut if not stitches and that i needed to come asap and get her. I ran down stairs to get korbyn dressed and remembered i was baby sitting and that she was asleep. So i called my friend to see if she could come sit with her so i didn't have to wake her up she said that they also had just sat down to eat lunch and said she would take her but i would have to drop her off at a friends house, Luckily closer to the school. So i grabbed everything and rushed out dropped the little girl i was watching off at the friends house. And rushed to the school. I took 1 look at her eye and checked her out immediately. I called the pediatrician to see if they could see her or what they recommended. They suggested Primary Childrens i was on the fence on weather or not it was bad enough to make the half hour drive to Primary Childrens and have them tell me she would be fine. So i left it up to her she said she wanted to go to insta-care it was closer and i felt that was the better choice of the 2. We drove up the the kids care by us and checked in they got her back pretty quick and ultimately decided that she needed it glued shut but was very close to needing stitches.

She was SOO brave! I was so proud of her.

After! She was so sad that she couldn't do swim lessons but happy she didn't need stitches.It looks so good. I was so sad that it was the day before picture day!! The doc thought that she would be pretty bruised in the morning. luckily she wasn't bruised in the morning but they are starting to show up now. but she is healing quick!!

Playing in the mud. Our garden did not do to well this year i think it was because it got really cold ad rainy right after we planted. We are gonna try planting a bit later next year and see if that helps.
