Giggles part 2

Erilyn was excited to find a few un used band-aids left in the box.

Erilyn laughed so hard when she saw this.

She pooped mini chocolate chips. I did not however let Erilyn eat them bleck!

This house was alittle harder to make then It looks!! I may or may not have uttered a few naughty words under my breath while putting it together.

She was sitting here with the house craft.

She changed our advent claender from 19 to 11 we were a little behind.

10 months.

WOW how time flies I cant believe I have a 10 month old all ready! Right on her 10 month mark her first tooth popped thru ( bottom front right hand side)..... FINALLY . She has been working on it since she was 5 months old. The one right next to It feels like it will pop thru any day now. When I think about her finally getting her first tooth the song All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth song comes to mind!! I think that she might just have them in time for Christmas. She is such a cute baby and  has mastered crawling and pulling her self up on things. She loves her big sister but Is terrified of her at the same time, when Erilyn gets near her she flinches. Yet the first thing she looks for is big sister in the mornings, and she loves it when Erilyn gets her in her bed with her in the mornings (even though she is not supposed to ) and cuddles with her while I get her a bottle. She is loving trying "Big girl" foods and wont eat just plain baby food any more we usually have to add rice cereal to it to thicken it up. I blended up some turkey noodle soup I made with thanks giving left overs and she LOVED it!
I usually don't post naked pictures but this one is so cute and shows how she has gotten a little chunk to her. Erilyn took this picture by the way.

One night as I was giving the girls a bath Enslie decided she was done early so I got her dried up and dressed and she crawled back into the bathroom to watch big sister finish her bath.

This was her first time trying avacodo she loved it but when knew it could be so messy?!

Giggles!!

on Dec. 1 gigiles came back and she brought 24 books one to open each night.
She made a huge mess wrapping all of them.

Erilyn checking it all out.

We noticed later in the day she had tape stuck to her face haha she must have had some issues.

She also left a note  it says
Im back! I missed you s much Erilyn
and I cant wait to met your babay sister
I hear she is pretty awesome!please opne one present a night till Christmas
im excited to hear all the fun stories.
Love Giggles.

The next day she left this present it didn't have a note with it so we decided it would be ok to open....

It was a ginger bread house.. I mean train.

Erilyn had sfun eating all the.... I mean decorating the train. :-)

The next day Giggles got caught  in Erilyns candy ball machine.

Down town.

The next Mon we took the girls down town to see the light and Santa. Santa charges $15 for pics so we didn't buy any.... maybe next year. The Santa at city creek is one of the best ones I think. He has a real beard, is super nice and you can check in with one his elf's, they give you a time frame and text you half an hour before your app. time so you go shopping or to eat and make it back in time with out having to wait in the long line in the cold. Erilyn was such a big girl, sat right on his lap, told she wanted doc mcstuffins stuff and even did a little dance for him. Enslie on the other hand was NOT a fan and screamed.

In front of the big tree at Temple square. As we were heading back to the Trax we saw a Jbs so we stopped for hot coco and dinner. Its always a fun tradition to go down town see Santa and look at the lights!

Decorating for Christmas.

The sun after thanksgiving I was still getting over the lovely flu Erilyn shared with me. So we stayed home from church. Travis ended up getting off work early because of the 13 hours he had to work on black Friday. So we decided to decorate the house for Christmas.
Im not sure what Erilyn is doing here.... Haha.

Enslie found this bag and she content playing with it. (yes we kept a good eye on her).

Enslie checking out the light and Erilyn running for another ornament to hang on the tree.

Snacking on a baby cheeto she found still checking out the lights.

She did surprisingly good decorating the tree.

Our Christmas village this has since beem rearranged countless times. :-)

The finished product.

we even strung some lights up inside the house this year!

front view.

We even decorated outside this year we have since added more to this
(ill post a pic once I remember to take one) we bought everything on sale and spent less then $50 decorating the whole yard. :-)

While I was out outside taking the above picture Erilyn stepped on glass from an ornament that broke. (we have a few of them aren't shatter proof  :-( ) Travis said it was pretty far in there when he pulled it out. This pic was taken right after I wiped it off it was a bleeder and took a couple of Band-Aid changes before it finally stopped bleeding. She was gimp the rest of night but come morning she had almost completely forgotten about it.

Thanksgiving 2014

I woke up early on thanksgiving to get the turkey In the oven and the rolls out to rise. Erilyn got up she did not look good her skin was ghost white, her lips dried and cracked she was sluggish and just laying around when I picked her up she was just dead weight. Rewind back to Sunday night Erilyn was whiney and refused to eat dinner I didn't think much of it..... seeing as she is almost 3.... its a daily thing. Monday she didn't really eat or drink much and by about 5 pm it was coming from both ends. The 24 hour stomach bug had been going around so we thought it was that. Tues was the same thing coming from both ends and not much going in. She sleeps well tues night so we think she has slept it off. The next day she still refuses to eat or drink but is trying to play and be her crazy self. I can tell she doesn't feel great though she doesn't throw up but it is coming from the other end still. Im starting worry about dehydration she hasn't really drank since sun morning but we decide to try giving her popsicles and she keeps that down so we see how the next day goes. Now its Thursday I took one look at her and know its time to go get her checked out. I'm not sure if our pediatrician is open and im sure they will send us to the ER any way. I text Travis who is donating plasma and tell him what's going on he agrees its ER time. I start getting the girls ready and the diaper bag packed when the smell of turkey hits me.... dang what if we don't make it back in time to take it out of the oven? I call my mom she doesn't answer. I call my brother he answers but is out for a run no where near my moms house. So I call my dad and ask for my mom she answers and I loose it!! I start bawling and telling her what's going on she suggests we give Erilyn a blessing. When Travis gets home we go straight to my moms house and Travis and my little bro give her a blessing. We leave Enslie with my parents and head to primary children's. The ER is surprisingly busy we finally get checked in and in a room the doctor comes in and instantly says she definitely looks dehydrated and orders an iv and blood work to make sure its nothing else. The iv is started and blood taken. The Doc. come back with the blood results she is severely dehydrated, everything else looks good but she does have the stomach flu. She watches youtube on daddies phone and slowly gets the color back in her skin her body is gaining strength she isn't just laying there any more. They ask if she wants a popsicle and pipes right up when they say they have purple ones (her favorite). She finishes that and asks for chocolate milk witch they are happy to give her! She scarfs that down and then needs to go potty and for the first time in days pees! I have never been so happy to see that in my life! She finishes her iv fluids and we all feel comfortable with going home so we are discharged. We rush to eat our thanksgiving dinner at my moms house, check out black Friday adds and pick up the baby ( my little bro went to our house and took the turkey out of the oven hours ago).We then leave and go to find an open pharmacy to fill Erilyns prescription for Zofran to help with her nausea so she could continue to get better. We went to one pharmacy that was closed then to another that was thankfully open but super busy because it was one of the only ones open within  miles. We finally get the prescription and Travis drops me off at a near by store to black Friday shop. It was definitely  a thanksgiving we will never forget that's for sure. We all ended up with the stomach flu to but avoided the ER.....luckily.
Her iv. She was so big when the poked her and only cries for a few seconds.

My poor baby waiting for the iv to start.

popsicle!!

Still super white but TONS better.

Drinking.....YAY!
