Erilyns 2 year Pictures/ Family Pictures.

So I'm not a huge fan of how her hair looks (I'm lucky that it got done at all she isn't a fan of anybody touching her hair right now) but they turned out so cute!!!!

Erilyn is 2!!

I cant believe my baby is already 2!

 She is talking non stop and pretty well can say anything she is starting to put sentences together like "mommy Sippy milk please", " Erinyn bed sad Erinyn pee" and 'Erinyn hold you mommy".

 I love that she talks about her self in the first person and how she says her name. If you ask her what her name is she says " Erinyn name Riley Shorts!"

 She Is really into playing with baby dolls lately and carries them around the house wrapped in a blanket bouncing and saying shshshsh over and over again. I don't know where she learned that but she is going to such a good big sister!

 She loves playing in her big girl room and sleeping in her big girl bed she hasn't really asked to go back to the crib.

 She wears a size 6 or 7 shoe. And 2t everything else.

 She loves to color and read books infact this morning I could hear her through the monitor mumbling I figured she was playing with her toys... nope I walked in and she was sitting covered up in bed reading a book to her self. I love that she loves books!!

 She has become quite the little nudist and either refuses to get dressed or takes her cloths off and runs around the house butt naked!(witch makes taking pictures alittle difficult ;-D)

 She has also taken an interest in Band-Aids lately and needs one on every bump and scratch she gets. I bet people think we beat our child when in reality there is nothing underneath all those Band-Aids.;-)

 She knows what a star and circle look like, also E and R she knows what the colors red and orange look like the other colors are hit and miss some times she gets it right but most of the time not.

 She loves Monkey George.... better known as Curious George and Mickey Mouse. She knows all of the characters names and even surprised me the other day by knowing the dogs name on Curious George.

 She hates having her hair washed and can now get in and out of the bathtub on her own. She thinks brushing her teeth is pretty fun and asks to do it at least 3 times a day!

Her favorite foods are string cheese, pears, avocados, suckers and chocolate. She drinks 2 to 3 milk sippies and 1 juice sippy everyday. 

She weighs 26 lbs (50%) and is 36 inches tall( 90%) She passed all of her doctors questions with flying colors. The doc was very impressed that she had so many teeth and that she was potty trained. She also comented on how well behaved she was. And that she cant wait to meet Erilyns little sister..... I love our doc!!

Here we go agian!!!!

I had a doctors apt. the day after Christmas Travis had to work so Travis mom took me. When it was time for me to go back Erilyn wanted to stay and watch movies on Grandmas phone. So I went back by myself they did the usual weight, urine and blood pressure checks then sent me to the room to wait for the doc. They weren't that busy so he came right in we talked for alittle bit then he measured my belly he got a weird look on his face and checked the heart beat witch was normal. I could tell something wasn't right so I asked if I was measuring small he said yes your belly hasn't really grown, I want you to have an ultra sound done asap. So we scheduled one for the next day we went in first they checked the baby she looked perfect measuring right on schedule. Then the fluid I could tell right away that it was low and I was right it measured at 7.2 normal is between 9 and 22 dangerous is below 5. Of coarse my doc wasn't in that day but the nurse and one other doc was so they talked and decided I needed by-weekly non-stress tests and amniotic fluid checks I will be going on Mon. and Thurs either until I go into labor or until something goes wrong. This week we did Tues and Fri. Tues my fluid was 10.4 and Enslie passed the non stress test with flying colors in the first few min but I have to stay on the monitor for atleast 20 min. Today my fluid was 8.7 and again she moved like crazy the whole time so again she passed with flying colors. Hopefully they will continue to go well and I can keep this baby in  longer then Erilyn. Travis sis Tanisha is staying with us  few days a week to help me with the girls so that I can take it easy and it has been so nice!! Except Erilyn has been such a mommies girl lately so I don't actually get a full break but its still nice to have the help and some one to talk to. The girls are always asking and talking about " an eesha" (Aunt Nisha). They love playing with her until I leave the room then with in minutes Erilyn is right by my side.. hahaha

The "BIG" anouncement./ Elder Hammonds Phone call.

On Christmas  day After Hanging out at our house for while we headed to my moms to open gifts from her and my dad. About noon  we meant at Grans house to hear Elder uncle  Landis Christmas phone call and eat left overs. When it was Erilyns turn to talk to Uncle landis all she said was Happy Christmas over and over and over again (at least 20 times). She also told him she loved him and missed him and bye.

So a little background to this......Back in 2012 Before Landis left on his mission we decided it would be fun to have him announce the gender of our baby during the Christmas phone call. The original plan was to wait and find out with every one else on that day but decided to find out and  keep it a secret instead. Wich was fun, because everyone would try to get us to spill the beans. I sent him a package back in ocotber when we found out we filled balloons with the right color confetti and m&ms  and sent them to him with a note the read.

ITS A SECRET!

After some planning we decided how the announcement would be made. He sent my mom 10 numbered envelopes that said do not open till Christmas phone call. The letters had little hints in them like the top of the package we sent him that was from "Big Sister shorts"  to "Uncle Landis Hammond" pictures of the balloons, a note that said "Merry Christmas hamma X7"( for the soon to be 7 grandkids), and the words ITS, A, ....... Seriously! Written separately on 3 papers in 3 envelopes. She then had to open the little package that was taped shut with 6 inch pieces of gold duct tape........ Opening envelopes........... 

The babies weren't to interested in what was going on so they entertained them self's.

We did a conference call this time witch made it so that everyone could talk to him on their phone witch cut back on static and made it easer to hear him. Thats why every one is on their phones.

ITS A GIRL!!!!! Her name will be Enslie Jaylynn :-D

This is how we told Travis family. We are excited that Erilyn is going to have a sister so close to her age to grow up with. My sister and I are 5 years apart and even though we always got along really well we never could really ralate to each other until we were both pregnant at the same time. So im excited that they will only be 2 years apart and be able to relate to each other easier And hopefully get along well.
