Hands Foot and mouth Disease.

Last sun (Sept 30) Erilyn woke up from her nap after church with a fever of 103.4. We quickly stripped her down to nothing gave her some tylenol and cool bath it came down to a more tolerable 99.0. We kept an eye on her temp the rest of the day she seemed kinda clingy but feeling better till bed time when she seemed to be stuffed up. We decided a humidifier would help but it made it worse because it kept making funny noises and scared her. In the morning she seemed to be feeling better so we decided to keep all of our plans for that day. Travis and i both had our 6 month dentist check ups so we took Erilyn to Ashleys so she wouldn't be bored in the dentist office. After the apts.we picked up lunch and headed to Ashleys to get Erilyn and eat Ashley commented on how Erilyn had felt kinda warm to her so we checked her temp when we got home and sure enough it was 101.0!  We gave her Tylenol again and she was fine the rest of the day. So we went along with all of plans for our Anniversary. When Travis mom brought her to us she pointed out that her glands under her neck were very swollen, along with her neck and face. She also mentioned that she wouldn't eat we knew then she had to be seen by this time it was to late to go to her doc and I'm not a huge fan of insta-care so we decided to call the doc in the morning and get her in asap. I had a check up that morning at 930 so we tried to get her apt as close to that as possible, but their first opening with our doc was at 130 so we hung out at grans for awhile between apts. The doc had a hard time finding anything wrong with her at first (except for her fever of 101.5). Then she felt her neck and took alook inside her mouth where she found the culprit. I had noticed the night before her gums were kinda swollen but didn't think much of it, she began to point out the she had lots of open soars in her mouth she said she had alksdjgkladhgkal. ( seriously that's what it sounded like haha) or better known as hands feet and mouth disease. I was confused because she wasn't showing signs of it on her hands or feet, she said that it often attacks all 3 parts or more of the body but she was only getting a reaction in her mouth. She said that the swollen glands were probably her body trying to fight the disease off and not to worry unless she started to say they hurt or she lost motion in her neck. As far as the sores.... since this usually occurs in older children they have a mouth wash type stuff that they gargle and spit but since she would have ended up swallowing it there was nothing we could do. She suggested that maybe some origel would help on the smaller stuff but that it would do no good other wise and to just keep giving her tylenol (to keep the pain to a minimum) and benadryl at night (to help her get much needed rest). She suggested easy to swallow foods with low or no salt and lots of what ever liquid she would drink  along with pediasure to keep her hydrated so she wouldn't require an iv. The doc also said to keep an eye on her fevers and if they didn't go away by Sat to take her to primary children's to be tested for a possible uti, lucky for her they were gone Sat morning. Its now wed and you cant even tell that she was sick last week. Might i just say that it sucks watching your baby be sick! Especially since there wasn't much we could do. All i wanted to do is take it away, but on the other had i would rather her be sick while shes Young  and can build her amune system so hopefully she wont be sick often when she is older and can remember how bad it sucks.

3 YEARS!!

I cant believe it has allready been 3 years since i married Travis! We started off the day with breakfast at village inn where i had to drink a ton of water in preperation for my ultra-sound. Then we headed to the doc where we found out if we are having a Baby Kysun or Baby Enslie it went well and they said everything looks great!! And im measuring pretty much right where i should be (one day behind my due date). One thing i thought was funny was that the ultra sound tech commented on how long "its" leg bones are hahahaha another tall one!! After that we went to get my ring cleaned then ment up with  travis mom so we could have some alone time. We went shopping for each other and cuaght a dallor movie and lunch at zupas before heading down town to walk around then we went to the Blue Lemon for dinner wich is where went after our wedding in the temple..... while i was still in my wedding dress. After that Erilyn wasnt feeling to great so grandma was ready to bring her back. It was a fun day and i cant wait to tell people what we are having!! ( sorry ive been horrible at taking pics lately none for this post :-( .) We dont even have ultra sound pics becuase the printer wasnt working at the office. :-(

Potty training.....still.

I was hoping to Have Erilyn potty trained by now. But with the crazy summer we had it kinda got put on the back burner. And this is why..... I had a rough first trimester and was super sick, I babysat two VERY curious boys who would just stare when i changed her diaper so letting her use her little potty in front of them was out of the question, She ended up getting a yeast infection and they told us to keep a diaper on her tight with 2 kinds of medicine for as long as possible, and we had our Alaska trip. Whew!!! Since we've gotten home though she has been doing well and as long as we are home she will use her potty. She usually tells us WHEN she is going when we are out and about. But has yet to use a public potty. She still uses a diaper at night but naps in either under wear or goes commando with out any accidents.....yet!!

First hair cut.

I never thought this post would come!! Since Erilyn was so bold for a really long time. But Erilyn finally got her first hair cut! I took lots of cute before and during pictures but Erilyn decided to delete ALL of the pictures off of my camera,before i could down load the pictures. Luckily pretty much everything else was on our computer so they are atleast baacked up some where. It was so cute she refused to sit in the chair alone so she sat on grandma cornies lap the whole time.

Baby #2 update!

Im 17 weeks 5 days. We had a doc apt yesterday and finally got to her babies heart beat!! Wich i guess doesnt surprise me since we waited about that long to hear Erilyns. Doc says that becuase my uteris is tilted back the baby just has to be bigger to be able to hear the heart beat is all.But its ok that just means we get to see baby on an ultra sound instead. Doc says the heart sounds great!! And is about 150 beats per min. We schedualed our "20" week ultra sound for our anniversary witch i will be 21 weeks and 2 days for. The doc kinda luaghed when we asked if we could do it a week late he says usually people are begging me to have it done earlier!, later is fine with me!The reason we are doing it on our anniversary is becuase we ARE finding out what we are having this time. And we thought it would be fun to find out on our anniversary. HOWEVER! The plan is to not to tell any body (except my brother who is on a m ission in Texas) till Christmas day.Here is a belly comparison from last time and this time.

Last time 18 weeks 2 days.

This time 17 weeks 5 days....( about the same size and week earlier then the last pic.) i think i might actually get big this time hahaha.

Big girl bed!

While we were in Alaska we stayed with Troy wich ment no free portable crib to barrow from the hotel.We didnt want to pay to check her portable crib so Grandpa said he would figure something out. This is what he came up with she slept on a camping bed the whole time we were there and did surprisingly well!! Getting her nap on there was hard but she slept well on it at night with the exception of the first night when she rolled off and slpet on the floor. Soooooooo........

While grnadma had her when we got home.... we converted her crib to a toddler bed.The first night she came out of her room after I layed her down so Travis put her back in bed. She got back out and just cried at the door with out opening it for about 10 min then got back in bed and fell asleep. Travis had to put her back in bed the next night becuase she fell asleep on floor by her door. Ever since she has been doing great with it!! For about a week and half after we converted it she would still sit and wait in her bed for us to come get her but has since learned its funner to wake Mommy up (by slapping and yelling) instead.

Garden up date!!

I dont have pictures uploaded yet of our garden but i wanted to do a post any way. We have gotten 12ish bell peppers, countless grape tomatoes, 10ish bigger tomaotes, atleast 15 cucumbers. Its doing pretty well!! we also got a water mellon i looked up on the internet to know how to make sure it was ripe and all signs pionted to ripe but it wasnt :-(. We have also picked a few radishes wich are super hot for some reason and a few small carrots.
