The joys of having a big yard!

Dont get me wrong i love having such a big yard.... But boy is it quite the job to take care of!!! We for the 3rd year in a row planted a garden it has been alot funner this year then in past years. The first year travis and i werent married yet so i couldnt spend as much time as i wanted in the garden seeing as we werent really aloud to be at the house alone. And last year being the first trimester of my pregnancy it made me sick to sit in the sun and weed, water and pick plants. This year it has been so much fun to actually be able to enjoy and help alot. Erilyn also enjoys "helping" me water and check the plants out, i hope that she likes having a garden as she grows up! We also planted flowers in the front this year! We did last year also but just did seeds and couldnt tell what was weeds or flowers so it looked ugly  hahaha! So we decided this year to buy actual plants and plant them they are all perenials so hopefully we wont have to ever plant there again.

Tomatoes, tomatoes and tomatoes we started them in the house this year we werent sure how they were going to work out so we planted 25 and lost 5 next year we deffinantly arent doing as much!

July 4th!

 We had so much fun this 4th! We started the day off at my brother Kamrins house we took pictures of the three princess in their matching bows bracelets and shoes. If you look close enough you can see their shoes laying next to them none of them seemed to want to keep them on for more then 2 seconds but they are still all so stinking cute!

After that we took my brothers older 2 kids and headed out to Grantsville for the traditional parade. Erilyn loved watching all the kids run crazy for the candy especially mommy getting "her" some candy.She even got to pet her first horse!

Then it was off to my Aunt KDs to take Erilyn swimming for the first time. She was a NATURAL! she was kicking her legs and splashing everywhere!

Later that night we went to olive garden and a movie (snow white and the huntsman) with Grandma Corny, Grandpa Mark and Aunt Nisha. It was a great fun filled day!

Erilyns first girls camp!!

    Since Erilyn is still nursing i couldnt leave her to go to girls camp! (It kind of made me happy i wasnt quite ready to leave her over night anyway.) Travis went up to work double duty as my babysitter and our preisthood . Erilyn loved spending pretty much the whole week with her daddy. She is such a daddies girl! She has got to the point that when he works late she will try to stay up so she can get loves from daddy when he gets home.

Our camp value was knowledge so we got green shirts and bandanas she kept pulling mine off my head so i put it on her she felt so grown up!

 All bundled up she did not like this part but i was scared she would freeze at night so we bundled her up as much as she would let us.

 Finally some play time she got tired of being held and passed around the whole time.

Erilyn loved the fire she would just sit and stare at it sh thought it was pretty cool this is our fire we had for testimony meeting the girls started it and travis built it up.

Erilyn 6 months!

Erilyn had her 6 month check up allittle late this time cuz we were up at girls camp (next post) when the doc really wanted to do it. But any way it went really well.....this was the first apt that daddy missed :-(. He ended up having to work so i had to go with him to work take her to the apt then back later and pick him up, this was a very big deal to me not only becuase he wouldnt be there but i HATE driving! ( the next day i had to drive her to theropy also!) she is lucky i love her!

          6 month stats 

Weight? :  13lbs 11oz  10%                                                                                                       

Height? : 27inches! 85%    

Teeth? : 1 and atleast one more popping up

Hair? : ummmmm alittle bit hahaha its reddish! :-D

Neck Strength? : getting so much better! she has been having apts every 2 to 3 weeks and  now   

her  next one isnt for almost 5!

Sitting? : Almost she is getting so close!

 Rolling? : EVERYWHERE

Crawling? : Getting close! she gets up on her knees and sticks her bum in the air but cant quite get up on her arms yet.

Sleeping? :Yes for about 4 months now its awesome! She sleeps on her tummy with her head jammed in a corner of her crib.

Nursing? : Yes. Dont want it to end :-(

Baby food? : Atleast 2 times a day she loves carrots and bananas.

Talking? : When she is hungry she wines and says mom mom mom mom mom until i feed her. She is always babling and yelling especially when daddy first gets hom from work.

luaghing? : All the time ! she is such a happy baby!

Smiling? : If she isnt hungry, tired or sleeping she is smiling :-D

Newest niece!

 Early on june 26 Erilyns newest cousin Brynlee Ashlyn Hammond was born. She was born at 12:06 am weighed 6lbs 4 oz and was 18 inches long. Ashley was nice enough to let me be in the room when she was born it was an awesome experience! That i will never forget!

Lagoon!

Since Travis and i both have little brothers that work at lagoon we took the opportunity to use the employee appreciation tickets, and went to lagoon with travis' family and his moms friends. It was awesome because travis' mom doesn't like the rides so she just watched Erilyn for us so we could enjoy the rides.

BABY FOOD!!

 At Erilyns 4 month appt. the doc said that she could start on baby food and rice cereal. I was worried becuase she never seemed satisfied with just nursing any more. The first time we tried rice cereal she didnt quite get it and we gave up aftera few min, she would just spit it out. We waited a few days and the next time she loved it! We did rice cereal for awhile then we decided she was ready for baby food first she tried squash and loved it. Next was peas and again loved it! And yesterday she tried carrots at first she wasnt a fan but then she decided she liked it and ate almost the whole can in one sitting!
