Cannon 7th ward womens retreat

A couple weekends ago i got to go to my first and last women's retreat with the cannon 7Th ward. It was so much fun we played games ate food, had a jello slurping competition, tied a quilt and got to see deer really close!!

A day with madyson

My nephew Jaydan had to have some minor surgery done so i got to babysit Madyson for the day she was so cute all day!! we played at the park, in the sprinklers, and with the kittens. Travis was even nice enough to buy her chicken nuggets her favorite!! here are some pics from the day.


Connor kept getting " stuck " on the slide so Maddie had to go down the slide and push him out she thought it was so funny and had to do it over and over again.

Travis' car got hit in the parking lot at work, and the guy that hit him did something i don't know if i could have done. He went from place to place trying to find the owner of the car (Travis was working at the time and his car was parked far from his work) so he could tell the owner and switch info. I think i honestly would have panicked and drove awayand felt guilty for ever or left a note with my info on it i don't know if i would have wanted to face the person i hit. I forgot to take a pic of his car but there was a pretty nifty dent in the drivers side right above the rear tire. While his car was in the shop getting fixed Travis got a rental it was a good car but didn't have power locks or doors and it was super annoying, but it was definitely not hard to find in a parking lot!!

The basketball league

Travis loves playing basketball so he decided that he wanted to play on a league with some of his friends. He got to play in all but one game they have their last game tonight and if they win they will be undefeated!! He is number 14....

Our new bed room set!!

Travis' mom found us the perfect bed room set on ksl its a 4500 dollar bed set but we bought it for 300!!! Its solid oak and it is beautiful!! When we were putting it together it wouldn't do what it should and i ended up dropping part of it on my foot.... ouch!!! It was kinda funny Travis freaked out more then i did. Now i know why girls have babies hahahaha. I just took deep breaths and breathed through the initial pain and limped for a few days, it still hurts to put my shoe on and i have a nice dent in my foot its awesome!

I thought i had a finished product but i don't so i will have to get one but one the the long skinny side pieces is what fell on my foot they are really heavy seeing as they are solid oak!!!

While we were at the family reunion travis...

House sat for us and kept him self busy by pulling out all of the vines on the side of our house. The puppy was super excited to see us, Travis left zoie out side one night (she has never ever been left out over night). The neighbors said they heard her all night and when we got home she sounded like she had strep it was kinda funny but sad at the same time. Needless to say Travis will probably not be watching zoie for us over night ever again :-)

Hammond family reunion

I waited to long to do this post so I don't remember the exact order of the events or these pics but I'm sure they are all backwards oops!! June 19 thru the 24 was my moms Hammond family reunion. Witch is just my mom, dad, grandma, my 5 siblings, 2 in laws 1 nice and 1 nephew ( so far.... the numbers will all be different next year we will have two more people in our family Travis :-D and a new nephew). Travis was invited but we decided early on that we didn't want to go on vacation together till our honey moon for various reasons, he also is all ready taking to much time off for the wedding so he did not go. :-( I missed him so much and am so excited for him to be able to go next year with us to...... Bear Lake. This year we went to the grand canyon for the first two days then to rockin r ranch for the last part it was so much fun!!! At the ranch we rode horses everyday, got to do two river runs, our own rodeo and play human fuse ball. It was super fun but i was happy to be home with my Travis when it was all over.

This is the birthday boy. The day we drove home was his his 4Th birthday!
This is a trailer full of hay that caught fire in the middle of the road. We got there even before the fire trucks and police did it was pretty cool looking. Even though i got Ashley's head you can see how big it was it was super hot to!!
On the last night they did line dancing. They played one salsa-ish song on kamrin made his pregnant wife do the dance with him it was kinda funny
Jaydan and Maddie felt left out so they slow danced together with the help of one of the workers.

We did a hay ride and the second we started moving this is how Jaydan grabbed my hand it was so cute!!!
Jaydan just before he became ''a real cow boy'' he fell off and scraped his elbow, he wasn't very happy so to Cheer him up we told every one he was ''a real cow boy'' now.
