we have a garden, we have a garden!!

Saturday my mom, sister , next door neighbor and i went to a green house and bought all our plants and seeds we needed for super cheep!! Then it was time to go home and plant them. It took lots of time and stategery but 4 hours later my moms garden and my garden were planted and watered. I don't have pics of my moms but i do have them of mine. We planted squash, watermelon, pumpkins, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, honeydew, cucumbers, and i think that's it

Happy birthday to.... Travis

May 13 was Travis's' birthday he turned 23. We spent the whole day together i got him avatar and some of his favorite candy..... Reece's wich is also one of my favorites!! we watched avatar, went to olive garden for lunch, got dessert to go, went to the bank and got the rest of his cash he had in change, went to my house and put it in my piggy bank (or the honey moon souvenir fund) we went to the gateway watched a movie spent some time in our favorite store aeropostale then watched robin hood it was a fun filled day!!! he seemed to like it alot and i enjoyed spending some quality time with him. I love my Travis with all my heart.

Happy birthday to.... ME!!!!!

Saturday April 24 was my birthday, i spent the entire day with my Travis. We started the day off by going to gateway we bought a movie tickets to date night and had some time to kill so we went to the food court and got one of my favorites taco time. We hurried and ate i stashed the left overs in my purse, we walked around in the stores till it was time to go to the movie. And that movie was so hilarious!!!! i loved and highly recommend it to every one. Then it was time to go get a facial at my sisters house, her friend is selling Mary Kay and needed to do some facials. After that we came back to my house to find out where a Lazar tag place was then we headed clear out to 72 south to play Lazar tag it was super fun but i got last place both times :-( a 6ish year old kid even beat me!!! but oh well all that matters is i had fun and so did travis. We worked up a good appitite so we walked across the parking lot to lone star for steak!!! what a great dinner. we left there and went to the house and watched disterbia with Nisha Travis' sis and Travis' room mate and ended the day with an awesome massage!! thanks Travis for making my big 20 so fun i love you!! (sorry i of course forgot to take pics of the day)

Chopping, Pizza, and Family

The day after we the exterminator came we invited my brother and brother in law over to help us chop trees. We rented a chain saw and the boys got to work while my sister and i made a trip to the store to get rope and safety goggles. She was super tired seeing as she had run the half marathon (and beat her previous time by 15 min) that morning and was having pain in her foot she watched mall cop with the nephew and niece while i made sure the boys didn't chop any limbs off . I told the boys if they helped i would buy them lunch so we bought pizza, Gatorade, mountain dew (Jared was happy) and Swiss rolls. They got more done in 4 and a half hours then i thought they would, and chopped down 5 trees one of them counted as two because it was so big that we needed to be cut into 4s to get it to even move from where it was!! Now we are stuck with a huge pile of sticks in our front yard that is about as tall as our house and takes up the whole front yard, if you know of any one that needs fire wood or knows of a cheep way to get rid of it let us know asap!!! Thank you Kamrin and Jared we could not have done it with out you! Also thank you to Landis who helped for awhile ( he also ran that morning and beet his previous time by 25 min) and Jaydan and Maddie you helped keep Shaless and gran entertained. And Connor well he was there i think he moved two branches for us

Shaless asked me to give her some ice so she could ice down her foot that was bothering her, and all the sudden Jaydan and Maddies feet both hurt to so they needed some ice to.

This is the tree that took Travis all day by him self to get started and took 10 min to finish with the help of my brothers and the rope. I couldn't watch for too Long he is super high up there not strapped to the tree and sawing while they are tugging on it with a rope!!

After!!! It looks a lot bigger now!! The last tree is in the power line they were all afraid to take it down and said to get professianal to do it.

900 bucks later....

The termites are history!! it only took 5 hours of drilling into our foundation and spraying but we are hopefully done with our little friends. The exterminators found some live ones on our porch and they look kinda like over grown white lice!! we haven't seen any since so hopefully they are gone!!! One of the things they said may have attracted them is the fact that our house was surrounded by trees. Travis chopped one down but it took him all day so we decided to invite my oldest brother and brother in law over to help but that's a whole other post...

Cheep date night 8-D

We wanted to go to a movie but it started later then we thought so to time to kill time we went to the moon, mars, and channel 2 news all in about 45 min!! It was easy though they were all in one awesome place called the Hansen planetarium one one of my favorite places of all time!!!

Not so great news :-(

Ive been putting off this post for ever because it makes me sad and frustrated every time i think about it. The day we got the keys to the house we found out that we have TERMITES and that its going to be at least 1000 BUCKS to treat!!, not including fixing any damages they have created to this point all ready( its not to much but still!!).This is especially frustrating for me because it meant paying for termite treatment instead of paying cash for the washer and dryer. We still got the washer and dryer but put it on a payment plan, witch after reading the total money make over was very had for me to do. It needed to be done though so we can get termites treated first. The next thing to be paid of though will defiantly be the washer and dryer and the 2ND mortgage. I will be making these payments so Travis can continue to pay off his debt so he can hopefully be debt free besides the house and the car by the time we get married;-). He is doing really well and has paid off almost 10,000 dollars in debt since we started seriously dating and looking for a house. Me on the other hand never really have been in debt. I paid cash for my car and have never carried a balance on my credit card month to month i hope that i can stay that way and be able to build up a good savings so we never ever have to be in debt ever again. (besides the house)
